True that. She would have never understood the situation the same way that the Fiddler claims he understood it. We are so lucky he didn't claim it was a liberal hoax. Fox fired a show host for saying that. I guess the Fiddler gets a pass. Sending how many tons of medical supplies to China in February clearly shows he is a genius. Done with him and this thread. My plan? Stay healthy and vote. Out of here.

BUT it was ONLY brought about by the Republican pressure on Slick Willie. The Republicans let him have his tax increase so he could claim his moment in the sun--Willie was cunning, but he met his match in Newt.

Uh... they voted unanimously against it. Bottom line, Clinton was willing to compromise, Republicans were not, so Clinton gets the win here. He made it happen.

BTW, I favored some of Newt's contract, especially the balanced budget amendment, term limits, and tort reform. In the end a lot of the issues failed because, again, an unwillingness to compromise, or simply poor execution. I always got the impression Republicans used the contract to win seats, with little intent to seriously follow through.

Of course the Repubs voted against the tax--just as the Dims voted for it.Both sides gotta play for the home folks.
Again willie would have Never balanced the budget without Newt pushing him.

On a more serious note.
Been waiting for the fake news media to ask Pres Trump this question.
A good question too.
Has to do with checks going out to folks (part of the 2.2 trillion) bill passed.
The question is, Mr President, how will a person who is 18 years old and has moved out of their parents household yet they do work currently (or did before Corona), should these young folks get the $1200 checks? Or will they need to check with their parents as they will only get $500 as the result of them being declared a dependent in the 2018 tax year?
Checks will seemingly not be deposited into 18 year old bank accounts regardless. Since they didn't file a tax return or get a tax refund. I worry about the younger folks.

That's the dog that isn't barking, isn't it? Lots of people had a lot of opinions about his finances, but what has the IRS said about it?

If President Trump had done something illegal the leftwing corrupt IRS would have leaked it by now.
