I used to be one of your YouTube subs but became bored with the negativity. At first you said that you wanted to help people make good decisions on purchasing a detector but having watched you on YouTube and the forums I think you’re just here to stir the crap and stroke your own ego. point of fact! looking at the m6!..been in their line since 2006
in the shadow of the mxt. it's STILL in the line!..why? it works and works
really well for coins and jewelry, especially with the 5.3 eclipse concentric on board.
they "dumped" it and THEN brought it back. why? because everyone knows just how good it really is.
fits the definition of a true ''sleeper"..outstanding detector, and coil.

Whites has been open since 1950. 70 years is along time and I'm sure theyve lived and still live great lives.Lots of animosity over they're closing, I don't get it.
White has been in buisness 35 years more than minelab who started in 1985. Let's see where minelab is in 35 years,and if they stand the test of time .
Whites closed but left behind a legacy most companies can only dream of building.I honestly can't believe the nonsense I'm reading, and I'm not even a big whites fan but I do respect what they've brought to the hobbie.

Terrible that White's wasn't smart enough to check the forum for strategic planning.

Folks who value clear discussion and thoughtful contributions of hard-won experience eventually tire of constant sniping and aggression.

Two forums closed their doors this month. Findmall - if you subtract the “views” subforum, gets maybe a dozen new posts a day.

One forum is growing rapidly, with world-wide participation. Some of the same folks who stir things up here are members there.....and they behave themselves.

Over several years, discussions here have gotten way out of hand, but the response always was “freedom of speech”.

This is private property. Tom is no more required to allow any kind of ugly post here than he would be required to allow it to be painted on the front of his house.

Yeah, it was fake Tesoro’s that took them out too right?

Seems Geotech had some good ideas when he was with you know who.
But seems company leadership wouldn’t go those routes. Geotech has posted right here about these.
Didn’t see anyone ride his azz.

Older generations won’t keep a detector manufacturer in business I’m afraid.

Think it was a coincidence Xp made Deus and ORX the shape and weight they did.
Or Nokta Makro with their SimPlex.
Or the new coming Apex?

Now who has electronically modded a Minelab detector?

But boy those TDI made by you know who, lots of talk.
How come manufacturer couldn’t make the detector outright out the gate?

Some bad habits or methods are hard to break.

I encourage folks to go look at some video of White’s factory.
Looks like shxt if you ask me.
Go look at vidoes of Nokta Makro or Xp factories. Pristine, clean and very organized.
Yeah I notice things.
That Tesoro buildingm the pics it looked like a dump inside.
Not 21 st century place for building of sensitive electronic equipment.

Could a manufacture actually spot something (idea or opinion) on a forum and take advantage?
Common sense tells me YES.

Who on here was even talking about White’s detectors before this thread talking of them shutting down?
Go back and look.

I supported Whites with new purchases of White’s V3i and Mx Sport as well as a TRX pin-pointer.
So I spent north of 2 grand buying their stuff.
Maybe we should start a poll and see who else here spent $2000 plus on new White’s gear.
I’ll bet we are surprised at the results. If folks are honest.

And BTW...I’ve owned a lot more Whites products than that and I’m sure a lot of other folks here have too.

One dug behind a explorer between dig holes.

Other piece in a well worked site full of dense big iron.

And uncountable other relics Buttons bullets silver coins was with Whites units over the years..

TNSS stated as to why he thought they went under. As for Whites coming here to get ideas well might have helped them...... Notice Nokta Makro comes here to get feed back on their machines! The problem is TNSS challenges the status quo around here......

it's really difficult to comprehend for most "older" guys, because just about all of us
started detecting with whitey's equipment. as mentioned, been around since '50
in my view, they have always been a first class show..their equipment, well made, durable,and
incredibly efficient.their customer service was absolutely the best.you are really talking "hand made"
detectors.i have been detecting for over 35 years, and i will never forget what white's meant to me.
found so much with their detectors.always a distinct pleasure using them! hope, somehow,they can survive!
