The editing process is under way but editing nearly 5 hrs.of talk time is a big chore but I will post when they are done and what the cost will.

I would take a unedited copy too, but not sure if all that info can fit on one DVD !

That looked like one in his garage on the DVD.
Sweet ride!

An unedited Divx copy will fit on one dvd easy smiling smiley

The seminar required the use of nearly 5 of the video cassettes, which will be edited onto two DVDs, relic hunting & water/beach hunting. The process is tedious and the guy handling the editing still has to tend to other editing but we should be getting the master dvds before long! I'll keep you all advised.

They are still fine tuning. Hopefully it should be very soon. I'm getting a lot of inquiries but nearly 5 hrs.of video is time consuming project. I will ket you know. I'll check on it on Wednesday night and post whatever I find out.

update??
Re: Tom Dankowski Seminar
April 17, 2010 03:35AM
I'm at the mercy of people doing the work, but I know that editing all that info from the cameras to the DVD's is quite a chore and I will check tomorrow or Sunday to see where we're at. Sorry it's taking so long and I thought it would be done sooner but they do have other editing going on at the same time. I have a lot of people waiting and I am also anxious to get it done!!

But they are not worth the Weight.

I know when they get done they will be fantastic...

On a little side note-I had a chance to shoot 3-4 hours of footage and had a pro help edit it down with me and producing a dvd. It took a Loonng time!
It is a very long process, even with the best Macs doing there thing.
Most desktop PC's we own would crash at even loading the raw video files...

I agree though-Well worth the wait!

Part of our problem was an audio problem at the start of the program. We have to work our way through it. Tom hadn't yet got into the serious stuff so if we cut some spots and smooth it out it should be a very good presentation! So if you could allow for some patience we'll "get 'er done"

Hey gang,

Picked up the master DVD's tonight. Will get the process of pressing copies started. We are going to have that commercially done to expedite the process. Should know something in the next week or two. There will be two DVD's, one on relic hunting and the other on beach hunting. The DVD's are approx. 2 hrs. each.

Sign me up for these new DVD's. In the past few weeks here and reviewing Tom's articles and DVD we have learned so much more about metal detecting. Because of this site we are now on the waiting list for an F75 Limited! Thanks to everyone, especially Tom.

Hi all,

In another week or so when we get final cost figured and how to set up payments I will have everyone that wants to place an order email me then I'll have a printed record and won't forget anyone. I'll post it as soon as I know the info!
