They are real hard on packages too. The more a package gets sent around thats just all the more abuse they get. I know, my daughter works for them.

Here is a list of what I have.
Fisher CZ70 with three coils. The 10.5, 5 and stock with lower rods. Works as it should. $375
Minelab Etrac with three coils and lower rods. The ultimate coil, stock coil and fbs 800. Detector is in good condition but dont think there is a warranty with it. $550.

Have the active menu box highlighted or something so you can easily tell what menu choice is highlighted.
Fix the ID so zinc pennies, copper coins and dimes and quarters dont all basically have the same ID.
Dont know why big lead bullets hit at number 33 which is where most pull tabs hit. All my other detectors the big lead bullets hit in the zinc zone.
ID numbers are not normalized ac

I don't know if their is such a thing but I thought it would be fun to see who everyone thinks should go into if there was one.
I dont know a whole lot but here are some of my choices.
Tom D.
Carl M.
Mary from Whites, she always gave me excellent customer service and more often than not gave me replacement equipment for free.

It would be nice to have the backlight come on when the configuration/power button was pressed and then go back to the original setting when pressed again. I have the back light turned off on mine to save battery life and went to make some adjustments inside a not very well lit room and had a heck of a time navigating to the backlight setting to turn it on so I could see the menu choices.....;o)

I hate to post anything about the detector seems like you get blown up with all the "experts" wanting somehow make it user error....Lol
I only bring this up so if there is an issue they can get it fixed. Not to complain.
I have some user profiles setup with different settings for different programs. Sometimes when I toggle between user profiles one and user profile two it causes t

Yes. I think it would be no problem for the engineers.
I like the big lead hitting in the same zone as the zinc penny. That's how it does on all my other detectors.

I made this to show how the ID of the target changes when using different frequencies as opposed to single frequency. This may be normal operation but I think in the programming they can make all the targets ID the same across all the programs and frequencies.

Some minelabs and the whites V3i have this feature. Here is how they describe it.
Whites - Ratchet PP automatically detunes the coil with every sweep of the target to give the user a more precise pinpoint
Minelab - The first sweeps over a target will give a wide response. Subsequent passes will set the ‘baseline’ (strength of audio output) of the audio response to a new level, just below t

How about normalizing the ID's across all frequency ranges? Ratcheting pinpoint? Have an option for both a factory reset and the ability to reset individual user profiles. Volume seems to go from real low to almost too loud and not much in between. Make a way to adjust the pinpoint volume. The VDI gap between our zinc pennies and copper pennies is too small.

I didnt see anything in the Legend videos that would make me want to buy one to replace what I have now. I will wait for some more video get released and users start getting them in their hands before I decide to buy one of not.
