Discrimination should never be used on the Xterra 70/705, it's disastrous to the performance of the machine, the response of the machine is strangled when using disc and it effectively blocks all weak/faint signals from coming through. Instead use all metal mode in 2 tones, this allows the audio to flow freely and the weak signals came come through, be aware the Xterra loves to give a minus

I will probably buy the 3 frequency coil in the next few weeks....will report back if I do how well it does against my minelab coils. I have told many people over the years how deep the 10 inch 7.5KHZ c

Yes my Sov GT was the same, the Explorer 2 will also get an extremely faint signal in disc and nothing at all in pinpoint.

Yes Large beech trees and pines have mostly fallen across other trees, if I don't detect under the trunks I'd miss a hell of a lot, had a Hammered shilling out and some nice artifacts.....pity cscope

Ringmoney the Deus would be ideal I think in non motion and so light as well......but you need a full Deus for non motion I think and that's ..........expensive......nearly bought a Deus Lite last night on Ebay but don't think I'd be happy without the controller.....Euro is so weak against sterling at the moment as well......need to find some more gold rings to pay for it! lol

True Ziggy but the F19 gave no signal at all on the low conductivity Nickel where as the Racer slammed it, should be a deep hammered machine!

Considering how well it hit the 13 inch low conductivity Nickel I think it will be a hit with us over here in Europe, does it have any sort of iron audio?
Keith I'd love to see you use the all metal mode on those coins.

The problem I always had with the V3i is that although there are an incredible amount of settings to adjust ....the performance never seems to be any better than far more simple detectors , for example my Explorer 2 only requires to press the ON button to get great depth......I'd be willing to spend hours fiddling with settings as long as it would result in better performance than my other d
