I'm really glad you're sending the relic as well.....can't wait to see how that does on boost......hopefully Keith will try it in boosted
all metal static mode as well........

A PI does not do what Tom wanted
"and only with accurate ferrous vs non-ferrous differentiation....... to fringe depth"
PI does not id to fringe depth.

Good news Brandon ,Next week will be the decider for quite a few here I think....very generous of you to lend Keith the Smart...helps a lot of us out.

Another GREAT vid Keith , for me the Elliptical gave a better signal on all targets ,maybe no need for the round coil at all.......
Love to see you test a Nickel/low conductor.....the GOLD should be best on that.....would a 12/13 inch Nickel in that hot dirt be a depth record for any VLF machine you've had.......?
Wonder how the Goldmax or DEUS would have performed on the same target

Lots of experienced members on this forum so I would be interested in knowing what detectors members think would be worthy entrants to a hall of fame if such a thing existed ?

Yeah I was messing about with some bricks at home in the last few days ,some were easy some were impossible for my detectors ,you can only compare detectors against the same brick.

Well it'll be a Smart or Gold first for me depending on how it goes with Keith's testing ,but I could see myself picking up the Relic as non motion mode is a huge plus for my style of detecting ,I use my old x-terra 70 in prospecting mode all the time in the woods and for cleaning out the last few finds on a worked out site, I'd say the smart and Gold will do better on the small/lo

Nice vid AMC , can you tell me if the boost can be used in the all metal static mode ?,I'm getting interested to the RELIC for woodland detecting where it's hard to swing the coil.

Another great vid Keith......that Gold sure does impress.....man am I gagging to see you test the Smart vs Gold .........that's gonna be good !

The recovery speed figure represents the distance in cm a test coin had to be from a nail before a CLEAN signal could be attained ,the smaller the figure the
smaller the gap needed the better the recovery speed.

Deeptech better hire some more staff......lots of orders coming their way, mine included !
.....so they can supply a 15 inch coil.......imagine that with boost mode activated......
two of my best sites are soft pasture and real good ground ,ground balancing hardly needed/little effect
problem is the finds have sunk deep....starting at 8/9 inches and going way down......

Sondierer welcome to this great forum
Can you tell me when you expect the Smart in stock?
Also are the 11 inch coils stable with no falsing from cable movement?

Hey Keith check out this depth/recovery speed comparison off a German forum, the Smart wins in high mineralised ground(the megabucks ctx3030 came second!),and was just pipped to second in medium mineralised ground
The Gold does real well overall but not sure whether they were using slow recovery with the booster on or not.......?
OK it's hard to say how the other detectors were set up bu

Here is their main German dealer ,they have the Vista Gold in stock according to their website but the smart is out of stock at the moment
needless to say a German dealer would be trustworthy/efficient
Also Evergreen detectors in the UK ,I would telephone them to be sure they have them in stock before ordering !
or of course as Keith said email

Hello Steve
Yes that was me on the compass forum, I still have a soft spot for them, would still be very tempted by a nice Goldscanner or even
better a mint 77b ,never had one but John's video is real impressive,if a modern manfactuer could combine the 77b's crazy
unmasking ability with about 50% more depth it would be a killer machine !
Yes the Goldenm

Hello Keith ,nice job on all your videos I really enjoy them ,can't wait to see that video of the SMART vs GOLD , it will probably decide which one I purchase ,a video on this forum by a member like yourself is the most reliable detector review on the internet as far as I am concerned!

Nexus does not have a lot of admirers in the UK ,sure it might produce a signal on deep finds under "test" conditions usually carried out by Nexus themselves but on a real hunt in iron laden or bad ground it will not impress, even on clean pasture I would prefer my Explorer 2 with 15x12 SEF. Also there are few if any youtube videos showing a normal user making deep finds ,considering Nex

My x-terra 70 and the newer 705 has a prospecting mode which is a true all metal mode ,will give a nice digable signal on faint targets that the disc circuit calls iron.,turns it from an ok machine into a killer machine.

Great effort Albert ,just what I wanted to see , in the UK the Jupiter is regarded as a top machine in iron but not very deep ,fantastic on small finds.
If you get a chance can you try out combined mode

Can't wait for a real world hunt Daniel ,considering the CTX 3030 offers no more real depth than the ETRAC (quote from UK tester) this machine offers crazy performance/value! ,best thing for me is that you really can go back over old sites and expect to find more finds ,lots of detectors have claimed this but the Blisstool might actually deliver.

Going by the hints from Neil Jones (slow-n-low) on MInelabowners forum it's way better than the Etrac and really is the future of detecting, we'll soon see

Remember this is a European machine designed for iron/not iron detecting ,having an accurate Tid is of no importance in Europe
where only a raw beginner would pay any attention to numbers on the screen.Leave the remote in your pocket for a few sessions
and you might be surprised what you dig!

100% agree with that , Daniel I would buy a detector based solely on your recommendation ,not many I can say that about !!

Thanks Daniel ,so maybe I would not gain much depth on my real good ground compared to my Explorer, plus all the iron digging problems of a pi ,Whatever company finally brings out a fully discriminating PI is gonna destroy the opposition ,won't hold my breath though!
