Depth. I mostly hunt open fields where all the seperation in the world won't find you much while even a little more depth than the last guy to hunt it will get you handfuls of finds.

Not using a pinpointer after always having one stinks. They cut recovery time down significantly. They are really good for small items and nails in your pile and rusty nails in the side of your hole. It is best to remember to sweep the hole/dirt pile with your machine first before going to the pinpointer though.

Fisher should release some sort of statement for early adopters. What's happening with the F75 doesn't seem too different than what happened with the F19 early release. My machines performance is less than it was before no matter what coil is on it. Since Fisher downgraded my machine I expect them to pick up the shipping costs. I'm holding out a bit for them to do the right th

I wouldnt trade my machines disc mode to get back my previous disc mode. My only problem is the A.M. mode is the mode I prefer to use relic hunting most of the time and it is currently worthless compared to what I had before. The new F75 properly tuned (like Keiths) looks like a great machine, the problem is getting one that is right.

It will be interesting how the F75 situation pans out. Obviously there are many subpar units in the hands of users, and probably still many more on store shelves. Pretty much the same story all over again that we saw with the F19 early on. Right now it's buyer beware till Fisher can squash whatever problems or bugs these newer/ugraded units are having. If Tom is still validating F75'

While the AM mode on my upgraded F75 is severly lacking, the disc mode has found me some deep targets. I found an 8-9 inch eagle button that hit no problem and the bullets I was finding were hitting better than I remember in disc mode. I enjoyed using the 3h tones for the first time ever due to the stability with the upgrade. I also like using the FA mode with a quick sweep speed in iron.

For me the 9.0 firmware disc mode is a homerun. If Fisher called the 9.0 side the new upgrade and left out the 9.1 option I wouldn't of cared. Maybe 9.1 will bale me out of a really bad EMI situation in the future, the machine can be its own backup unit ..? I really wish my old 7a firmwares all metal mode was still present. That would of been perfect.

Wow Keith. The All metal on your prototype sounds opposite of mine. Yours being overly driven and mine is asleep at the wheel. My old 7a firmware was the happy medium.

I went out yesterday and used 3h tones for the first time ever. In the past this audio option was too sparky and I would switch to 2f or stay in all metal. I made some good finds at pretty good depths. The disc mode is improved while the AM mode is WTF.
Looking forward to your in field report Daniel...

My test procedure is in the field with real world targets, mostly .58 caliber civil war bullets. My buddy located a deep one and let me swing over it with my machine. The all metal mode would not sound off as strong as it used to and actually seemed inferior to the way the disc mode sounded on the same target. The upgraded F75's AM mode is much quieter just swinging about looking for targe

Very different. I don't find it very useful anymore. Deeper items seem to hit better/louder in the disc mode now instead of all metal. I had a very successful formula for deep Civil War bullets in the past with the AM mode that does not work with my upgraded F75. The new AM mode is just too quiet on deep targets. I tried different pitch and threshold settings with no luck.

The all-metal mode is different on the updated models than the non upgraded. Much quieter.
Maybe the pinpoint in 2h/2l is to help in dense iron..?

I've noticed a slight increase in EMI handling in 9.1 over 9.0 with my upgraded F75. Both 9.0 and 9.1 are much quieter than the 7a firmware I had prior to upgrading. I used to use the switch on my Jolly Roger headphones to mute the F75 everytime I set it down so I could focus on target recovery, but now that reflex is no longer needed. The new audio options are useful but the pinpoint sou

Haven't had the finds you guys are getting with my gold bug ultimate coil combo. I don't doubt the setup though with the G2... Not one bit. Great finds. Love the Gilt on that A button.

Looks like a fun machine. Does 1n just mute the iron rather than disc it? Wonder how the FA modes depth will be with the 5 inch coil. Looking forward to this machine since the current F75 is my favorite machine now.

I have a pair of Vance muffs and they sound very good. They're tight on my ears though and I find myself taking them off just too let my ears recuperate from the pain. Hope they break since I don't like the background noise with the regular ws4.

I used the a Blisstool version 4 about a year ago. I could bury objects in the ground at amazing depths and set the machine up to crush them. When I would go out into the real world it was only nail after nail after nail. What good nonferrous targets I did find I could of found with other machines much easier. Didnt take me long to sell the Blisstool.

I wouldnt trade my Xp Deus for my F75se out in the open fields where I have found countless relics with it that others have missed. Now out in an iron infested cellar hole, yeah I would grab the Deus first. Different tools for different scenarios. Not too long ago the F75 was the go to machine for both . If the new modes deliver it might be again.
One thing is for sure, this isnt an easy
