Ain't that the truth?
I've had a couple of the F19's (the 1st release unit) and one a couple

Good report George
sounds like a good little iron sifter for smaller low/er conductors = cuff buttons and the like
I'm liking my MK with 7" concentric in the thick iron.

According to the U.S. Army/History/Military website it's an 1872 Shako/Helmet Plate as shown in the pic below.

1870s House/Property
Nobody's lived in it for a couple decades but it's maintained by the family/trust.
Got permission from owners and dug this piece next to a burned out/fallen down small barn in the trees to the right in picture.
Multi Kruzer with 7" Concentric coil -- 4 or 5" deep -- sounded broken/sorta like flat iron but kept giving good tone one way and reading

The Deus with a 5x8 would be great but I'd settle for a 6" round or even 7" round IF that's all they offered.
My 2 favorites at this moment are the Deus with 9" LF and the Multi-Kruzer with 7" Con. coils for thick iron work but I definitely wouldn't turn my nose up at a Vaq. or Tejon or modded Cibola with the 5.75 Con. for working iron either (been there/done

Ain't gonna beat that 7" concentric for telling you IF it's a steel cap OR rusty flat iron/tin scrap/junk piece
That's why I bought one myself = for those type of sites that hold that type of stuff "specifically".
There's more than just "#'s" involved though too = the audio is very telling VS any DD coil

that place went to crap back in 2008/9 and I quit posting on ALL fronts except in my local state/forum on occasion where there's only about 10/12 of us local boys that interact.
Before that time it was a fun place = kinda like the wild west of forums -- you could say almost anything you wanted,,, bust on people,,, crack jokes on detectors/LRL's or whatever
but then along ca

Yep. That silver round thing with holes. I used to think they were shaker lids too till I found one that had the co. name printed on it and humidor so I looked into it and sure enough that’s what it is/they are.

Tony’s on I75 birch run mi. Home of the giant steak, pizza cheese and mushroom steak sandwich. World famous. Was even mentioned in an episode of the 1970s tv series M. A. S. H. by clinger. He’s from there. Nothing like it anywhere!
5th/3rd ball park here in Grand Rapids mi. As shown on an episode of Man vs food = a giant 5lb burger! Bet you can’t eat the whole thing

I see a lid to a pocket size tobacco humidor
it's the round piece with a bunch of small holes next to the latch/hinge thing lower left in 4th pic from bottom
round brass/copper thing with a slot I believe is a lantern piece where the wick went thru (like Tom mentioned).
Bottle probably as you say = looks like opium bottle
Cool finds from a hard hit place

One $20 in a mall entrance. Two $20’s stuck together in a wood pile along side a barn once. A $10 bill came blowing directly at me up to my feet in a party store parking lot once - we pulled up and I opened my door and seen it coming across the lot/didn’t even have to move = that was a good one! Have found countless $1 bills thru-out the yrs in yards, parks, lots, etc.
