Yeah they do, we'll see how many "followers" he has when it is all said and done.
Is he still blocking oil ventures?
He has been pushing higher energy costs since taking office.
Since food and everything else is trucked in, watch for higer prices on everything you buy.
Soooo keep supporting him if you want to.

Ferrous B, did you just drop in here out of the sky or what?
Do a search with my user name, you will see I have had plenty to say of previous administrations.
From now on make sure you know who is who before you dive into ignorance.
As far as me needing to give citation...notice I stated "seems like I read".
If you are taking up for Obama, you are going to have a full time job.

We are evolving to the point that it will not matter who's in office,
The policies and direction and attitudes of the govt cannot be sustained indefinitely.
Time is getting short and they need to turnaround and go in the other direction.
Dew, notice I said "oil supply policy" and not just oil supply.
I am well aware that we have plenty of oil.....
Seems like I read that Chin

There are some "old" Fisher users that still enjoy swinging the Edge and think it is close in performance
to the 1236 in trash...which is saying something.
And the fact it has a meter will make it nice to use.
Can add on a small coil for really trashy areas.
Just because it is an older model doesn't necessarily make it obsolete.

The main problem I see is our govt has gained so much power...even to control businesses.
Think about it, why should any corp. want to have a manufacture plant here in the States when they can put it outside the borders with no govt intervention.
They have to pay taxes, social security and benefits to workers plus meet ethnic quotos.
Then they have to keep within EPA and Osha guidelines.

Then I would venture a guess and say that your ground is more mineralized than you think....if 7.75 is the deepest you can detect.
In that case I would think a DD coil would do better than concentric. You should find out that a small DD coil has better potential
depth relative to its size than a given stock coil.

One note about nickels, undug nickels have that shine and they tend to read a little higher.
I always made it a point to use dug nickels for testing....you know the ones tarnished...that will give you
the best idea about what to expect while actual detecting.

From what I heard about the Fed reserve...which I don't know to be accurate but I woudn't be surprised if it was.
Supposedly the federal reserve is neither "federal" which would indicate a part of the US govt. and it is not a "reserve" in the sense
that the money is backed by anything tangible.
Supposedly It is a part of a bank cartel with ties to an international

Maybe what is needed is a lower operating frq machine based on the F75.
Like one that is optimized for silver.
Can that be done?
The reason I ask is I read somewhere long ago, don't know if it is true--that a higher operating frq detector can
be driven harder than a lower operating frq detectors......don't know why that would be true.
I have read comments from Omega owners...wishin

JT, the ML multis, like the Etrac and Explorer do very well in your given requirements.
That is the ability to ignore alum junk, especially tabs along with most iron.
Here is the rub however, the MLs are harder for some to learn and take more time to master than many single frq detectors.
And it is according to how you are "wired" whether or not they will be of more advantage to you.

Good examples...I would like to add my thoughts which may or not be scientific or even true.
This wrap-around is the product of high conductive signals received by detector...usually... but not only high conductive signals.
Iron seems to produce a spectrum of conductive signals...especially if it has been underground for a while.
Nails exhibit this in that they should always read low on scale

Yet the new media pumped him up.....don't ever underestimate the power of the news media.....
I have to ask myself....are the majority of Americans this gullible?....Evidently so.

Small correction Dan, before the move and after ML was bought out, the new owner did some gutting of
good support people.
So the lousy repair was the fault of the new management even while they were out West.
I heard that it is better now but I had a not so positive experience on a repair before the move,
It took about 6 weeks before I got my detector back and I felt at the time they overcha

Dewcon may be correct.
From what I have heard, ML uses one frq to sort of take a reading of the ground and uses
2 other frqs to do the work.
I have noticed decreased depth on certain channels, this was done by me many years ago.
The best I can remember, several of the very low numbers and 2 or 3 of the highest numbers.
So I don't use auto noise cancel and start out at 5 or 6 and if I h

Yeah, a good study would be lay a coin flat, then tilt it at 30 and 45 degrees and watch how it pinpoints.
That dang junk stuff, like the big piece, odd shaped alum or other non-ferrous junk...seems to be always at an angle......
I think it is like that give me a good workout.

Early on there were a couple of pics, one in UK and one in....oh heck, I have forgot where.
I saw the pics...there was a detector....now whether it beeped or not....
Then later on supposedly he was redesigning it for use with ML coils....
but now from his last post it appears he has gone back to the original design.
He seemed to be focused years back on the prospecting part of using it....

Don't we all wish for something like this.
The simple answer is metal detectors are doing good if they can give us a ferrous/ non-ferrous difference.
They do have problems even in this regard to some degree.
That middle range is filled with all types of objects, mostly junk and trash.
Even shooting for the nickel range, one usually will dig more trash than nickels.
I think detector te

TerraDigger, I think the correct (public) answer is no to your questions.
Yet Carl at Whites did make a call to ML before the release of the V3.
About Emery's last post, he mentions a "friend".
I do wonder who is referencing, I think at one time Carl of Whites and he were on friendly terms.
But this is pure speculation......it would be nice if Whites could bring his detector

Well, after reading his last post from your link....I have been following this for some 6 years off and on,
I think he is overly defensive in that statement but I have read posts pertaining to what he referenced.
He did say on various occassions to be almost ready to market...then a prolonged silence.
But what he said about how deep it was, I remember he said the same many years ago.

At least in theory, Tom, I would say that is ideal.
However we have yet to see anyone implement multi-frq and still retain high sensitivity to low conductors,
at least ML didn't do it.....hmmm don't know about Etac, at the Sov and Explorer doesn't.
Now if and when we see such a unit, that would be great.
There will likely be hurdles however, which could include interference pro

That diagram I think was made to descibe the ML DD.
I think the side view is fairly accurate in that the very bottom will radius off on the edges.
The front view however isn't right since that the coil will pickup on the left and right side
at shallow depths.
And I believe the narrowness on front view is way overexaggerated in how thin the field is.

If it were me, I would make sure the meter on whichever one of my choices has
a numerical readout, not only a segmented target VID but also the numerical.
So I don't think I would too happy with the Ace 250 since it is only segmented.
The reason for this is numerical sometimes can give a more narrow window
when going for the nickel range.
I see you have the Tesoro, it has single audio t

You can get old top of the line starting in the 400 to 650 range.
If you are mainly going to use in wet sand then you will likely need to get a multi-frq
which included the Fisher CZ or ML Sov and Explorer or maybe the Whites DFX.
If you are going to get into the water then it is better to start thinking waterproof then
it is better to get Fisher CZ 20 or ML Excalibur or Whites Beachhunter

That 3rd choice, the 3300.
Did FT do a revamp on it more recently?
I've got a 3300 with which I found plenty of clad and amazingly
several silver and gold rings...sold them and came out way ahead.
If this is the same as the original, it would do ok as long as the conditions
aren't challenging.
The problem with the original is very slow recovery.
If FT has revamped it and made t

I agree with the seriousness of the posts of this thread yet there are times even when
humor can have truth.

I believed like he did, his stuff was funny.
These I picked are mostly about government.
