I don't view this as "hype". Parachuting out of an airplane during a detecting festival to promote a new product that won't be released for another 6+ months, now that might be construed as hype
Honestly NM has been pretty transparent and honest over the years listening to their customers and building the products that we want based on user feedback and experience. They&

Just a quick hunt (very short video) at a favorite back pocket spot. Unfortunately between the heatwave and the overgrowth, I think it's best visited in the winter, or early springtime, but I managed a few keepers.

The new coil looks pretty interesting, I wonder what "new" machine it was for Clearly not for the AQ if it's running on the F75, T2, etc.
I wonder what NASA-Tom knows about this

I've been buying and selling on eBay since 1996. I mainly buy and sell antique art glass, and eBay could care less if fakes are sold, and many are sold to the uneducated glass collector, so it's a true caveat emptor environment.
Their new managed payment system isn't all that bad once you get used to it. There are checks in play, and you have eBay seller protection. Nobody is

I've been hesitant to sell my F75 LTD2, which I bought new as a LTD1 at retail back in like 2009, and then paid for the LTD2 upgrade, so all told, probably into it for a good $1500, only to sell it for around $300....gesh.

I don't think I dig any more iron with the EQX then any other detector I've used. It certainly unmasks better.
What I have observed is that when hunting in old relic sites, that it IDs large iron (axe heads, large spikes, chisels, etc) at TID 13, right at nickles. That said, the audio is different then a nickle, being flat and very monotone vs a nickle (or other conductor in nick

Tom very interesting test results.
I'm sure you most likely tested the other units in like Khz settings, but just curious did you try the lowest Khz settings on the Impact and EQX, and still receive a foil range reading?

The CZ-70 Pro was my first deep seeking revelation detector, opened new sites. I don't recall it being bad on nails, but I was more into deep turf park detecting then relic sites at that time.
That said, after my sites dried up with finds from my CZ-70, F75 LTD2, and a few other machines, they lit up again with the EQX800. Matter of fact, after hunting one particular site for over ten

Personally I'm a fan of their 50 point TID system (goes from -9 to 40), it gets the job done. If they offered a more g

Tom, while more tones will obviously convey more audio intel, it needs to be carefully implemented. I'll give you an example, we can clearly see from the sample set that responded on

Nice write-up John The Racer 2 is really an under rated detector, it far exceeded my tests with the F75 LTD2. The Multi Kruzer took it to the next level with more modes and the ability to change frequencies, plus waterproof and whatnot, it's really a nice package.
I'm personally looking forward to see the SMF Nokta machine and the next generation Equinox, as well as the continue
