With all the high tech detectors we use today with all the different tones, ID numbers and such. When we get a hit are we looking for a reason to dig it or a reason not to. Crazy question ain't it?

Yes, things are pretty slow. Most all activity is based around new detectors and new ones no one has used yet. Which is good, keeps a fellow hyped up. But personally, when things get slow, or for that matter, anytime. I'd enjoy some more talk about folks' current detectors or the older ones they use or have used. Recent hunts, finds, settings used, ground conditions, all the stuff that

Just make it Tex Kinsey. That name in itself demands respect. I remember some years back watching your videos using the t2. 60 39 bp. I bought the t2 because of my man Tex. That's the only unit I use and have dug a ton of relics ever since.

That's a bummer Keith. Just another day in mind but not in heart I'm sure. Just call in sick. Tell'em you got a bone in your foot. That worked for me a few times. Well, maybe only once

What detector would be worth 2000.00 bucks. Any detector that we have available to us but one that can disc out aluminum and/or give the iron tone without affecting the tones on the good stuff. Categorize aluminun as iron. Now that just might be worth a couple grand.
