Looks like it's gonna be a good detector. Enjoyed the video. After he got back on the field he stated that 100 Roman coins had been found. My question is, were all those folks hunting that field using the Equinox. I know he's promoting the unit and I appreciate it. I'm sure I'll end up with one when its all said and done. But I do wonder what other units were used to pull out

Listen to you guys. You're already arguing over this detector. And it want be available to actually use for 5 months if then. Ain't marketing a wonderful thing. Minelabs marketing dept. has got us by the balls. Genius ain't it. They've already sold a ton of product without the product. Nonetheless, ain't it fun.

New areas are falling into the few and far between area. And how much detector to you need in those replensished sites. I guess it depends on what you're looking for.

If this detector does all its hyped up to do no question ill be getting one. The only problem is, it may put an end to going back and finding some goodies in our old hunted out sites. And those old sites are getting close to all we have left. What then?

Know the feeling Keith especially being by yourself. Years ago when I was a young buck. My buddy and I got permission to hunt a promising site. We ask him where is property line was as not to hunt where we shouldn't. He said not to worry there's at least 600 acres behind me that we deer hunt every season no trespassing signs and no issues whatsoever in all the years he'd been livin

How about we forget about discrimnation, separation, multiple tones, recovery speed, mineralization, emi, frequiences, numbers, etc. etc. and dig it all. Lot of good targets were dug doing it that way. I'd love to do that but I'm too old to handle it. But I quarantee we would find a ton more good targets.

Guys I really appreciate ya'lls response to my post. But you fellows talk so much above my head I'm kinda embarrased to even respond. Up until 6 years ago I was still hunting witha 1266. Just before that an ole nautilus mf. Before that, well discrimination wasn't in the vocabulary. Nail board tests and all those things were never heard of. But 6 years ago when I got with the progr

Thanks Michigan and Harold. But do those units give a distinct tone on aluminum say, as most units give a distinct sound on iron. Be patient I'm old school.

1 for iron (which we have, although not perfect but works pretty good) 1 for aluminum ( which we don't have at all )and 1 for everything else. When we talk about hunting in trash it's mostly about iron, but you've got to admit nowadays aluminum is just as much a pain in the hind end as iron. More so in my opinion because you can't disc it out without losing a lot of good targe

Right on Big T. I'm looking forward to it big time. I still hunt with the T2 because of your videos from the past. Matter of fact I have 3. One backs up the others. 60 39 bp. I do though adjust those sittings according to the sight. Don't hold that against me.

There you go Tex. Heed those words. Not sure you need 3 though. One, with your instinct would probably do the job. I'm 68 and close to hanging it up my

Lawrenzo, ever read or heard the story of the "Turtle and the Hare". Ease up Pal. You've been bashing Fisher since you found a machine that you considered better than the G2.

All these new machines are great. I love it. Always on the prowl for the next best detector. Compared to detectors I've used through the past 40 years the ones I've used of late are light years ahead of the good ole days. Unmasking, separating ferrous from non ferrous, maybe depth, but I think that's reached the max on these vlf machines, is just wonderful. But ya know guys. It

Keith please correct me if I'm wrong cause I'm wrong most of the time. At disc set at 80 aluminum is gone but brass, copper, silver, etc. still give a high tone blip with numbers from 81 to 90.
