Been hunting a Confederate campsite real hard and slow the last 5 or 6 hunts. The site has been used as a trash dump for many years so its pretty tuff and slow going. On top of that it’s in fairly thick woods with vines and man eating briars.Targets are deep. Not many that I’ve dug so far have been less than 9 inches deep. Some have been at the 11” mark. Using the T2 with stock coil. Sensi

This is an issue that’s been around since day one with metal detecting no matter what brand you’re swinging. New technology hasn’t solved it yet. Best thing to do is to keep trying to find the target until you come to a point and decide it’s not worth anymore effort

Great post Cal. In my test garden I have an eagle button buried at 6” with a couple of old square nails buried with it. My t2 with the 5” coil or the 5x10 coil will not hit that button. But the stock 7x11 coil will smack it every time in all directions. I never use the smaller coils, at least for my relic hunting. Your video confirms a bit that I may not be completely out in left field.
Thanks

Lordamercie Cal, what an awesome hunt. It don’t get much better than that.
I’d love to get in that sight with my T2.
Just kidding with you bud. Way to go.

It was a good day. Turkey, ham, kids, grandkids, and all the fixings. In the scope of things it don’t get much better. But saddle up boys, hopefully there’s a skirmish just around the corner to keep our juices flowing. Matter of fact I think I’ll start one now. If any of you guys aren’t swinging a T2 you might as well hang it up and go back home to Mama.
Just joking....just joking.

Why are most all your comparison videos and commentaries focused on the Garrett machines vs the Nox or seemingly forgotten Deus. Why in the world do you have such a case of the a$$ against Garrett and the AT Pro. Why don’t you go back and put some more of the fisher, other minelabs, nautilus, whites, nokta, tesoro, vista, , etc. in the mix. It’s always for the most part the at pro. Mix it up.

Any of you guys have any knowledge/experience or opinions with this unit. I know of a fellow in my small circle of relic hunters that from what I hear absolutely kills it with that machine when it comes to relic hunting.
