Just bought a Deeptech Vista X from Richard at Backwoods, looking forward to playing with it. Watched a lot of Video's on it including the video's Des and Kieth made, looks like a very capable beep and dig. I like a lot of different detectors but I have always had a soft spot for beep and digs.

I just got myself a Pulse dive pinpointer and I am going to get a set of green Makro wireless headphones also. My question is I know I can pair the Pulse dive to the green headphones so I can hear it in the headphones, but will it work if I am using my Makro Multi Kruzer?

My DFX settings are on here somewhere when I tangled with Calabash, He used them but he left one of the settings out, tone ID, and he swung the coil t

Try the Magic 5"x 8" coil on that R2, for me it was the perfect size and it separates real good with decent depth. They aren't that expensive either, I have had good finds with it in naily areas.

Just wanted to say thanks for making the Etrac video's you did, I have had 2 Etracs over the last few years at different times and I never could figure out how to avoid digging a ton of nails with them, after a lot of frustration I ended up selling them. But after watching your video's and seeing some of the nuances of the machine I feel I can get a handle on it, I have another Etrac co

I just related the experience I had with the Simplex+, I didn't do any air tests, I just hunted with it. Others results may very. I will be hanging onto it as a backup to my Anfibio Multi. though.

I have a couple spots I have been hitting with a lot of different detectors in the last few years that are iron infested, lately I have been walking out of these spots empty handed. I got a Simplex+ mainly to see for myself how well it does, I usually don't buy newly released detectors because I like to wait and see how they do for other people over time. But because of it's reasonable

How do you rate the ORX as opposed to the Deus lite? The last Deus I had was the lite version 5.2 and it seemed very customizable compared to other beep and digs. When I had the Deus full I found that it didn't ID very deep so it was basically a beep and dig as well, I had the remote in my pocket most of the time. My question is does the ORX ID targets at depth better than the Deus does?

I had a Deus full a couple years ago, great detector! It dosen't false on nails and it's deep with awesome unmasking ability, I will probably get another one some time. I think I sold it because I was digging a lot of deep non ferrous trash with it, it picked up on even the smallest targets at depth.

You should run the MX Sport through your test bed Calabash, run it in relic mode, stock coil, gain at about 8 since you got some deep targets in there, SAT 4, , VCO on, iron grunt off, audio mod off, 2 tone. If you really want to scorch the earth set the gain on 10, 10 is boost mode. It might turn your Nox and Deus into wall hangers. With the 7inch DD coil it picks in the iron pretty good. It has

I always keep a close eye on that auction web site because every once in awhile somebody puts a detector up for sale not knowing what it is actually worth. A few days ago I got on there late in the evening to check things out and boom! just listed was a brand new Whites DFX, never saw the dirt, included a set of Whites headphones that were also never used, a nice padded Whites detector bag and al
