Hope I got the spelling right. Anyone using this detector? How does it compare to
the other top of the line detectors. I have the impulse and the legend right now.

Seems like the company is not going to address
this problem for the hardcore hunters. It’s only I guess
A small number that see this as a problem. Too bad because
as you said would make it the legend a legend!!!

I read that you tested the legend. You bench tested it
you air tested it. But found I think on a silver dime it
could not hit it at ten inches. Was that tested with all
of the coils? And because you I think have sand did that
hamper the testing? I think you wrote it was on the
multi moods, on the lower single frequency it hit the dime?
You said you spoke to the company, did they addr

I’m not a gold hunter but on my last hunt found a bottle dump
and took home twenty killer bottles from the
gold rush days. Too hard to post videos. Tom how
come you can’t fix that. Or maybe have a facebook website where we can post
photos and videos.

Iron - 12 months ago
So I was reading up on the legend about the iron filter and with a low setting like 3 how it can unmask non ferrous targets next to or even on top of iron. You will get a good tone and then a iron tone. I see how you try to isolate the higher tone. Wonder if you get a hit like that if turning up the recover speed will isolate that better. I know you lose depth but once you get the hit I don’t thi

I found out multi Frequency m1 is for high conductors. Like silver, copper, brass. That is relic hunting. It sounds like it doesn’t use all the frequencies. But it’s deeper. Bill was saying it can be a bit unstable? Not sure if it’s effected by what program your using like park or field. Maybe someone can ask the techs that question

Just got both coils for the legend. I understand the
difference but wanted input from those that use them.
I’m not used to a big coil but?!!!

I kept my impulse but was hoping the multi frequency on the legend
may do a better job in a faster recovery speed. And maybe find more targets.
Also maybe get deeper targets with the lower frequency in M2. Also am interested in the
Iron filter if it can light up a target over iron. Like the recovery program

Programed the legend to fit my detecting area. Relic hunting is what l love to hunt but
hard to find new areas. I think these are from the 1920s? How do I post a photo? It wants a URL

What does the legend vdi read. What is a good setup
for hunting in an area where square nails are maybe
all of a sudden in one part of the area I’m hunting. I like horseshoes
And rusted guns locks. It’s been a couple of years since I have hunted.
On my impact square nails have a high tone like a coin. I think horseshoes and axe
heads old rusted locks still don’t ring in the iron range.

Just got my legend. Very light not sure why they included
such a big coil. Maybe to sell there other coils. Anyone using
a smaller coil. One thing I wish they did was to run the coil wire
through the shaft like the impulse. I’ll give it a test at an area from the gold rush days
very hard area to detect.
