Congratulations! Sounds like from all the other great finds you certainly desire more Barbers in the future. The only Barber I've seen lately is the one who cuts my hair!

I would have to 2nd that! I have taken my CZ3D to the parks several times and it's a beast! My father went with me more than once to a beat to death park and could not believe the success I was having after all these years of detecting. It's a fun detector to use as well as being simple to operate...

Wow! I'm sorry for you bad luck! It's hard to avoid some of those stops like that. I've caught one now and then, "but" thankfully not with those results. Yet!

The large cents are beautiful coins. The only one I have found so far was a Canadian large cent. It was very deep and was in wonderful "green" condition. A good friend of mine has found about 10-15 large cents. I believe they were all found in farm fields on early colonial sites close to the river. The CZ 's are amazingly deep detectors and still contenders under the right conditio

That's probably where Tom could set the CZ the best to whatever coil was sent when calibrating the detector...whether it be an 8",10.5" or another...?

I dreamed about metal detecting last night. Great! Now it's in my sleep at night. It seemed real in my dreams... Must be an illness...By the way, there's about 8 inches of snow outside...

Aaron I've used the X-12 on my E-Trac for quite a while and don't think I will ever get rid of it. I have used it in the fields and in the my local parks. The X-12 is very light for a large coil (actually 12 1/2" measured) and very accurate in pinpointing. I've found many flat buttons out in the fields and it works surprisingly good in my local park after working areas with th

It may not sound like much to some but I had a "Wow!" about a week ago. I was on my favorite little hilltop that is a site where an old bandstand used to be back in the 1930"s. I always seem to pull more old coins out when I take my time. I found a 1920 wheat penny about 8" in the ground but the kicker is I pulled an old 2"rusty nail above and just beside it. The wheat p
