From an 1820 house site. The dime was 10 inches dep and read 88 to 90 in the ground.

To soon to know. But that was one deep dime with a sweet ping high tone. Out of the ground it read 82. I'm going to place the Anifibio coil on the Multi. next time out. It could enhance the Multi performance.

Very Impressive for a first find George. thumbs down

My detecting buddy bought himself a VX3 a few months ago and took it to an old railroad town for the maiden voyage. No Backyard practice. Just a cold start with a new machine. His first coin find - 1857 Flying Eagle Cent.

Some of you guys just have a 'lucky' hand at these things. I have to tip my hat to you. smoking smiley

Quick way to build confidence in a new machine. I did the same only not nearly as good (silver ring).

A pounded nail infested early home site is how I test all new machines. 5 tone, mid frequency iron volume one. That[s it.

Looks like M/N has some great preset programs going with the Anfibio. Shows a well thought out design.

Nice job George.

Edit How do you rate the see thru with that big of a coil overall so far as to depth ect?
