56, retired 2 years ago (looks like I'm avg. age for the board). Started detecting ~1978 with a Whites Coinmaster (still have it in my closet). In and out of detecting over the years, but starting this year am back in whole hog. Am really enjoying the hobby, and had done a lot of detecting up until the temps started hitting 98 everyday 3 weeks ago, and the rain stopped. Am now compiling my long list of sites to detect in the Fall just as soon as temps drop and rains come. Enjoy coin hunting mostly, but silver is as rare as hen's teeth in my area. Have enjoyed CW relic hunting at a few campsites within driving distance. Don't post much, but thoroughly enjoy all of the people and helpful info on this site.
