3030 still has a insane resale value ..... even after 10 years........ the 3030 technology was years ahead of its time........
only thing Minelabs can do to improve the 3030........make it more lite weight .... less expensive ......add The IQ technology to be more sensitive to low conducts

I’ve Owned Both ......440/ 550 are same raw power ...... less features.......I personally like the 440 better for my type of hunting.......the 550’s 12 inch coil was prone to EMI ...compared to the 10 inch coil On the 440........I also I like the 3 tone I’d on the 440 compared to the 5 tone ID on the 550 ......for basic park / sports field type hunting in mild ground
the vanquished is ama

For jewelry hunting ether the x35 coil or HF coils will work...... as the sweet spot for jewelry hunting is around the 26 KHz...... both coils can cover this...... The HF coils are less EMI Prone ........this is just for jewelry hunting only. ...... someone was a deep coin and jewelry hunter then the x35 would be better.....as you can have both of the desire frequency’s

Entry level Detectors are The Bread & butter & big Profits for all The Manufacturers. Garrett’s Ace series was so much in Demand, Garrett had to build a 2nd Factory wing & run 24/7 a day .
With the Vanquished now a big competitor to the Ace, Garrett had to do something.
