Nah Tom-CA's been busy digging up piles of gold at the beach...hopefully he posts once the storm systems finished...for now.

I've had some success with 1-way hits, but in area that've been depleted of targets so in desperation one starts digging the abnormal target

Thanks Tom. From what I've observed, the $5 U.S. gold coins were the work horses, heavily circulated at certain times in U.S. history, and not so heavily at other times. But these $5 coins are by far the most frequent found compared to other denominations.
On the "in-the-woods hunting" setup you suggested below, is that a good baseline setup for for general relic hunting (mod

Thanks for the kind words Steve, glad you got the F75 and I think it'll find you a lot of treasure!
It's found me bust coins, seated coins, barbers, and beyond. Lot's of jewelry and relics too.
Good luck Steve, let us know how you like it.

I have a F75 LTD2 that I'd sell. I had it factory upgraded to the LTD2 from the original LTD model. They put in a new motherboard, new screen, etc. I know I

Thanks for the update Tom D.
I'm looking forward to learning it when it comes out.
Honestly, for me, the Equinox has been such a great performer (game changer for me for sure) if the MC is even better in all aspects, this could get really interesting!

I check here almost every day.
I think as Steve stated a lot of groups have moved to Facebook, but there's also some issues with the forum software used here. Lack of SSL certs causes havoc for some web browsers/devices and the display of the forum is less than desirable, and for those that are less that inclined to learn something new it can be challenging to post photos, etc. Some

Tom thanks for the update, really glad to hear it's headed in the right direction!
Would love to hear what the road to perdition is?
This could be an epic fall/winter/spring of detecting if the powers that be can make the stars and planets align in the right order

I would be very curious to see the results for the same test on the Equinox.
I agree the differential between MF and SF are drastic, but at the same time if the Legend can detect a dime at 14.0" with usable TID, that in itself is quite impressive with the potential to open some deep silver sites up. The challenge I've found using 4 KHz (on the EQX800) is that it's not resilie

I had one for a hot minute, great machine. Better for relic hunting than the F75 IMO.

Tom D. thanks for sharing all that you have, this is fascinating, and far more exciting news then any of the (mostly crappy) Manticore YouTube videos.
One big question I have is with this expanded iron range, how will the Manticore work in these 1800's sites where decomposed cans reign supreme? On the Equinox (or any detector really) they ID'd as a conductor, which wastes a lot of t
