I believe it will be released right before Christmas or spring it will be a multi frequency land machine, as far as the detector he's using it's definetly the future detector from FT, Mike told me they are working out a few glitches with it. So if that's the case it may take until Christmas or early spring to have enough inventory built up to release it.

Re: m6 - 10 years ago
I have heard it is a cheaper version of a MXT Pro less bells and whistles but the performance is equal to the mxt pro. For coins I would use a AT-Pro or AT-Gold or Fisher CZ land machine. If the areas you hunt are iron filled or trashy go with a AT Pro or gold but if the areas your hunting are clean use a CZ for deep oldies! Just my 2 cents!

Ozzie the CZ3D 1021 machines are getting harder and harder to find if I had one I would definetly hang on to it, the newer CZ3Ds aren't as hot as the 1021's!

Yeah I sold my AT-Pro but I still have my AT-Gold and to me it just seems to be a little more sensitive to small lower conductors which is great if your a relic hunter, but it still will pick out silver if it's in the ground. I am getting Dans Tejon he had for sale on here to use on relics. But if I'm in a area where small iron is in abundance the AT-Gold will get the nod due to it'

Dan I am getting anxious bout getting it, it's kinda funny Keith owned it originally in Georgia and now its on it's way back to Georgia! I know if Keith hand picked it out it will be a good hot one! Keith what's your favorite coil for the Tejon, I'm thinking about a 5x10.

Yeah I know what your saying Dan I had a 1266x and to this date I've yet to find another machine that found stuff as deep as it did! I like trying out newer detectors to see what their capable of and in most cases they were all hype and didn't meet my expectations.

Thanks for the info guys looks like the deus or the CTX is the better detectors! Dan I loved using a 1266x I had one of the originals that had the white coil and twin stacked circuit boards and I found a ton with it, ended up having to sell it when I got in a pinch and have missed that detector ever since!! If I ever come across another I am going to jump on it. I had a Tejon once and traded it t

I am looking at getting a different relic machine this year, what do you guys recommend for one that gets excellent depth and has excellent target separation and has better discrimination than a DeepTech, thats not going to cost an arm and a leg to buy. I currently use a AT-Pro and a AT-Gold. My soil conditions are like Keith Southerns red clay and slate type soil. Some of the sites I hunt are pr

If you read the article the fellow that died was disarming it with a drill and grinder. I myself wouldn't attempt that I would pay someone that knows what their doing to disarm it, it also says that you can drop them and they won't go off, so I don't see a huge threat to myself being a relic hunter. Thanks for sharing the article though.

Well around here if you report it they send out a bomb squad and destroy a piece of history!! In order to get it disarmed there are a few guys in this area that does it but you have to take the chance to get it delivered to them. I guess it's a risk but I'd be willing to take it to save a piece of history!! I guess I'm just a nut over relics and look at things differently.

I thought it was good myself at least it showed them filling in their holes!! I think it's better than American Diggers and the Diggers show!! At least the targets don't look planted when coming out of the ground!! Yeah sometimes shows will give the hobby a blackeye but in some cases it also opens up spots that were off limits before! Especially if you have a spare detector for the land

That's a very good report!! How's the battery life with it? And also what's the deepest target you've dug? Also what's your soil conditions? Sorry for so many questions but I have kinda been intrigued by them since they hit the market.

I have decided to keep the AT-Pro and purchase one of the 15" NEL coils for it to try and get more depth. Has any of you guys tried one yet? If so how did it perform as far as target separation and depth goes? I've read it makes it more chatty but heck it couldn't be any worse than the T2SE is when ran hot and in boost mode. My dream machine would be a Tom Tuned 1021 CZ3D with a 10

The CZ-6a is the one I would take of the 2 it's a good beginner machine or a great machine for a seasoned veteran!! It's a simple machine with exceptional capabilities in depth and tones it's a also rain and splash proof. The E-Series of the Whites can be over whelming as far as all the adjusting you have to do in order to get maximum performance. Just my two cents!!

I am leaning toward getting rid of my AT-Pro due to the fact that I just prefer my AT-Gold on my hunts! I may be intersted in getting another G2 or Gold Bug Pro with 13" ultimate coil for the extra depth. I ain't locked in yet on these and may consider others but something with depth and preferably 2 toned is what I am looking for. I plan on using this detector primarily as a relic dete

Hey there I've pulled silver dimes at around 9" using the 5x8 coil in thick iron it separates iron very good put a 5x8" coil and it's even better! In regular aluminum trash listen for those high tones that have a very repeatable dig me sound pull your coil up off the ground around 6-8" if it's still loud pass it up it's the top or bottom of a aluminum can.

That's a pretty impressive video Keith looks like the recovery rate between targets was lightning fast!! Looks like to me a lot faster processor than the Etrac had. I guess I am going to start saving my old green backs for a new machine.

Keith does the CTX null at all? I had a Etrac and in thick iron it would do it constantly and I sold it do to that reason!! That's why I love my AT-Gold and Pro with the 5x8" coil attached and I run iron audio on them all the time just so I know I'm not missing a conductive target! I know the Etrac was deeper but if it couldn't unmask the targets in iron what was the since in

Yes MRH hit it on the head in less trashy areas the G2 and Gold Bug Pro are very capable machines but the AT'S shine in trashy areas which is normal at parks and schools and most houses. The AT-Gold in my opinion is a do it all detector. The G2's and GBP loved rusty bottle caps to much for me and that's why I got rid of them. As far as depth goes the AT-gold with 5x8" coil get

I use a AT Gold 100% of the time on my hunts and it hits hard on high and low conductors it separates targets in some of the most nail and iron infested sites I hunt. The 5x8" coil is awesome on these machines in trashy sites. I went from finding one or two silver coins a year to finding 6 in the first 4 hunts with the AT-Gold in spots I had hunted to death with a Teknetics T-2 SE,Teknetics
