I tagged one just like that a few years back.
The flock of 6 made it across the road with no problem but number 7 was bent on committing suicide, and she was successful.
The craziest thing was that it was about 4:30 in the afternoon ,,,,,,,on Thanksgiving Day!!

Nice score and a nice report.
A pic and all the details I want to know plus the comments in less than 3 minutes
So much nicer than someone expecting you to waste 15 or 20 minutes of your life watching them satisfy their ego.

Like the nickel range on the CTX and Etrac it's a bit broader than just a couple of numbers. I have found them now from 11 to 15. Yesterday I dug 10 solid 13s that showed no variation in TID and kept score , 2 nickels , 8 tabs (round on both ends). Dirt GBed at 4.

Thanks for the replies.
steveg , I will keep that in mind if I decide to sell them.
It might be better to keep them to sell with the entire NOX set-up if that's what I decide to do ,,, jury is still out at this point.

Forgot to mention,,,the tonal range is disappointing on the Equinox with the high tone appearing to be only 500hz vs the 1200 on the CTX , which was a bit disappointing when compared to the Etrac and Explorers. If you are a hunter that enjoys hunting in "full tones" the glass is half empty on the Equinox.

I just broke my 800's maiden last night with a quick sprint around a local elementary school. I have hunted this school many times with the CTX et.al.
The 800 found some coins and I dug some junk jewelry around the zinc coin range as I was digging essentially everything. I think the build quality is very average and had to modify the lower clamp to prevent the lower shaft from rotating a bi

The thing about today's new Mighty Diggers that are so enthralled with masturbating their egos on youtube is that they mistakenly take the attitude that the finds they make is the result of a talent they have with a special machine when in fact it is just a factor of the LOCATION they are hunting. What's more difficult to technologically find , a 1964 nickel 8" deep in bad soil or

I see two prominent features in these videos , a large ominous blob that appears repeatedly in the central bottom part of the screen and a lot of hubris.

I'm a bit surprised the depth is the big issue for you Tom.
I have been getting a good 4" of depth with the standard Garrett pinpointer for years by employing different versions of the "nickel trick" to super/detune them. It must electronically be similar to adjusting the extreme sensitivity "rings" available on the Falcon gold probes. I have found various method

I do that frequently.
It might be why my Deus with the 11" lf coil in 12khz easily passes so many of the tests TNSS says his Deus can't pass.

Why don't you just look up a video?

If you can't considerately take two minutes to summarize the content of your video in text instead of expecting someone to spend 17 minutes of their time to listen to you ramble on , I doubt it's "relevant" to me , especially when it's just another redundant question with no definitive answer.
