Can any Nel Tornado users tell me if the coil has a hotspot like the standard F75 11 biaxial does ? im finding that im having to sweep multiple times over what at first sweep seem to be iron signals but then when i work them and hit the hotspot they turn into non ferrous diggers.

There appears to be a boost process in D12 2 tone mode but not in D13 3 tone mode but im sure the breakpoints between the 3 tones leave holes that degrade performance even more if that makes sense.

I dont know how it was slipping on the leaves all i do when i want to adjust something on my Core is just twist my wrist up and press the buttons with my left hand easy peasy i find the Core the best balanced easy to swing detector i have ever used the only thing wrong is the supplied strap which is far too short (this may have been rectified now)

How does Tom work the validation process? i take it he buys the detectors at trade price and tests them and any that dont pass his test garden/air tests etc dont get validated if so what does he do with the underperformers send them back ?

Just tested my prototype F75 LTD and my all metal with BP is about 1-1/2 inches deeper on an air test than disc with BP DE i will will do a more thorough test in the morning.
