I agree, with these new low prices on top performing machines it’s very hard not to add one or afew to the arsenal. Makes me wonder what’s coming down the road though if there selling top tech at mid range prices, maybe we’re going to see a big improvement in tech ?

I think I remember hearing a new form of disc? Hmm that disc range is low unless there’s something they haven’t released yet? Won’t be long now! I definitely see a higher end Equinox coming down the road in the future also.

Looks very interesting with that 180 vdi scale, wonder if it'll help some with separating aluminum trash from gold jewelry? I see there's 3 chaser models each with a different freq. hmmm each must be precisely tuned to that individual freq? I have a feeling you already got one coming Keith lol , I look forward to your review if you try one out.

Very sorry to hear this. I hope his mom is ok. I can't stand lowlife thieves. I hope Monte gets all his gear back, I'm on the east coast but I'll keep an eye out if I see an add for any of the machines he listed stolen.

Looks like multi frequency has finally got the speed and sensitivity to low conductors it was lacking, that combined with the ID at depth is gonna be awesome. I think there's more to this multi IQ tech than they've let us know so far, I think this is a huge leap in multi freq technology time will tell, but the way it was locking on to that small coin at that depth with that kind of spee

Can't wait to get mine in my hands. I think this is gonna be a multi freq low conductor monster that can work in the iron infested sites which could be a game changer as there currently isn't a multi freqer with adjustable reactivity.Unfortunately the ground here will be frozen solid by the time I get my Nox's. Looks like I'll have to make a trip down to SC to visit my sister

It's inevitable that the bbs/fbs tech that so many enjoy using will be gone one day due to newer tech but with the advances in electronic technologies it might be possible to have selectable true bbs/fbs modes built into a flagship machine or maybe the next tech will make us forget all about bbs/fbs who knows?

Been thinking about this new multi IQ and was wondering if it's mid level tech or if it's an improvement over bbs/fbs tech. Then I started thinking about the "what if " it's possible Minelab does have a flagship in the works and I imagined a machine in an Equinox like housing but with selectable single freqs modes, bbs mode w/true sov tones, fbs mode w/true explorer tone

Cal, I got the Nox 6 for the girlfriend and I wanted to see if the multi IQ was different between the 2. I keep hearing that the multi freq mode uses all the single freqs together and the Nox 8 has 2 more freqs than Nox 6. Maybe multi IQ will be the mid level and maybe there will be such a thing as MBS "multi band spectrum" in a new flagship.
SteveG, I forgot to say " with a

X2 coinnut. I think the Equinox's are the new mid level machines in the lineup and I think we'll see a new flagship from minelab within a year, I can imagine a flagship machine in Equinox like housing with selectable single freqs, BBS mode "with true sov tones", FBS mode "with true explorer tones",multi IQ mode "if any benefit over bbs/fbs" all modes being

I have cancelled my AT max order which was paid in full and putting the funds torwards an Equinox 600 and 800. I cancelled it because the Equinox has selectable freqs and simultaneous multi frequency for around same price and ergonomics look better. Still going to keep my CTX, Excals, Deus, AT pro and TDI pro for now. My detector arsenal will likely change again as I'm sure FTP is gonna give

Not to freak you out Keith, But it looks like Herman Munster looking out that small opening in the greenish siding as you took picture. I've had some very weird things happen to me and a few hunting buddies a few years ago that would make a believer outta the most skeptical. Stay safe

Wow now an all new waterproof pinponter with iron id! Very nice. Looks like Minelab is listening to what WE need/want in detectors and accessories. I think there gonna pull another rabbit outta the hat before long.

That speed test video is great! Wonder if that was in multi freq mode? If it was this new multi freq tech is gonna be awesome!!! I'm on the list for a 600 and 800 I think these are gonna be awesome machines. However , I think Minelab is on a new path with giving US what WE need and pushing detector technology to its limits, I can't wait to hear what this new multi IQ really means and if

Oh noooo... looks like an updated go flop. I really hope that's not it! What's with that go find coil design. Come on FTP it's your turn, give us a teaser on what your working on we know it's gonna be a game changer.

I'm thinking it's gonna be Minelabs attempt to take deus sales, probably gonna be a fast machine with selectable freqs BUT with option to run single freq or mutlifreq. Time will tell and it's gonna be very soon that we'll have more info. I hope it's gonna be a good one!

Well I'm expecting FTP to give us a true discriminating at depth deep waterproof pulse machine like no other. And a new light weight advanced multi freq machine.

Lol! Yep she showed me up that day and I was using my tdi pro, I did manage to find an 1863 our army token that day that was a good 10" deep. She loves that 44 except when hunting wet salt sand then she uses her Excalibur, I'm not sure if there is hot n cold 44's out there but the one she uses is really a great machine and seems really hot.

Yes the F44 is a great machine in a lot of ways. My gf found a 1749 1 reale with the 44 I got her, I was hesitant to give it to her when I tried it out, it's a very fun machine. Now she's got me beat for oldest silver coin. She does very well with it in the parks with the 11"dd coil and snake coil.
