Everyone has an opinion. Some feel more obligated to push their thoughts on others. There is a difference between opinion and fact. Anyone in this Thread worked / has worked for Whites manufacturing ??

Found so many coins with the Whites 6000. Its what really got me starting in this hobby. All manufacturers are in the same boat with the counterfeiting problem.

We all know that having more Social Media e-friends or e-followers means that one is a better treasure hunter......LOL. Talk about fake news, get some real friends and go find some treasure.

I agree that the term "deep" is thrown around too loosely on the forum. My deepest detector was an Fisher 1266x with the solid 11" coil. It detected a quarter size piece of aluminum 14 plus inches deep....two inches past a clay layer. It was a solid positive signal and it turned out to be a small piece of a light-bulb (threaded part). That 1266 found me lots of good relics, but too

Here in Arkansas they actually encourage motor-boating....LOL

If we forget the past mistakes (ours or others), we are sure to repeat....not learn. Man will never be fully prepared for the future, circumstances and variables always different. Crisis never give much of warning ahead of time. Adapt and survive.

Testing a "broken" metal detector on an old farm road near my house turned out to be interference from a microwave....LOL At what frequency is least sensitive to modern day electronics???

Some physical items a few months back, all of a sudden became incredibly valuable. Like toilet paper. No matter you have the money to purchase the item.....its not available....mmmm. So hoarding money isnt the answer. Even stock piling TP wouldnt last forever. Perhaps owning tools to produce ones needs....long term value. Makes one think.

I do run an 800 and still learning. I have a question. Looking online their is a flood of after-market parts and covers. Out of all these what are actually useful and worth buying? For example, lots of coil strengtheners.....does anyone have much problems with the coil tabs breaking???? Thanks

Many Nokta models, such as the Impact, still have the ability to find things other single frequency brands have missed. It is fairly stable on mineralized ground, but not comparable to the BBS, FBS, or Equinox. Performance-wise the Nokta is like a digitalized Vista model. Not quite the XP level digital, but still excellent in iron. Wonder if XP will dive into waterproofing. Look forward to what t

I'm hoping the best for Cal also. Maybe someone should start a "Tesoro's The Best" thread just to have him chime in??? I'd much rather talk Metal Detectors than politics any day.

woulda, coulda, shoulda.....easy to play the blame game when we arent in charge. It's a reoccurring game during every crisis. No one here knows every detail of the story. Heck we still don't know who was involved with JFK back in 1963.

No doubt the Clinton's were hard workers (workhorses), in a mafia sort of way. They sure worked hard in Mena, Arkansas. Lots of dirty money. Research it if you please. The drug lords in Mexico and South America are powerful, but the USA prescription drug companies are too. See how close they work with (pay-out) the Government in the documentary American Addict (1st video). Opioid crisis is r

I'm not a Trump lover (nor hater), but at the same time everyone knows that we need change. We need someone strong and willing to make changes, even if their own Party objects. Trump knows money and is not easily bought out. I don't expect changes overnight, but someone to at least break the ice (to split a link in the chain). The Democrats know that Pelosi is crazy, but they keep her b

True. I know it is more complicated problem. It took years to sell out to China and it will take years to reverse. The USA doesnt have all 100% resources it needs....we live in an electronic world. Regardless of the variables the root is always money.

We do need more positive posts......not doom and gloom. The cheap labor in China is a form of slavery. The abuse allowed in China would not be legal here in the States. Our relationship with China needs to change. Everything happens for a reason. Trump might be the strongest business negotiator to make these changes. I can't imagine Biden as the Captain in this pandemic. I have never agreed

I'm not saying the virus is fake news, but stinks of politics. Any Statistics can be manipulated to say anything, to meet ones agenda. Drug companies do it all the time.

You can OD on anything and die. There is 7,600 annual (USA) deaths from over the counter anti-inflammatory drugs (like Aspirin). I'm not saying this medicine will work, but give it a chance. Trump could successfully save the world and still be looked at as being the bad guy. If it were Obama that approved this virus drug it would be praised as a cure-all. Thanks
