I have an Equinox 800 w/11" & 6" coils in excellent condition and Steve's carbon fiber shaft. Also waterproof headphones. No wireless headphones. 3 years old. Used it for 2 years in the lakes with no leaks.
$600 shipped.

I agree with Keith. I got a Tejon back again. I love it. Picked an AT Gold, negative ground balance helps it lot for me. Has great separation and runs quiet in iron with no falsing like some new detectors I have lol. The new ones have a lot programing that are pushing the limits on vlf though.
Still, I might get a Deus 2 for lake & relic hunting. I really like the Manticore but it doesn

It looks like the Manticore will be able to see thru iron much better. Maybe better than what's available now.
I also wonder with the 2d screen, what will aluminum foil look like compared to gold jewelry.

It does look interesting. I don't like coils with all the braces in it either. Why the extra braces circling around it. I'm not a fan of 11" coils. An 8" or 9" round coil would be perfect for me.
Hope it's light, has great depth and more separation.

It's good to have the right coil for the place your hunting. So you have to have different coils.
SuperSix 6x8 is an incredible coil.
Good luck hunting.

With the Equinox in Beach mode it will not hit that small piece of foil but will hit the 10k gold piece.
In my fresh water beaches I would not hunt in Beach mode but on land, Beach mode would be good jewelry hunting and eliminating the small foil.
I don't know how well Beach mode is on gold earring studs.
Still thought it was interesting. I haven't tried it on land.

The Equinox gets false hits on iron too and reducing sensitivity does help. Reducing iron filter helps too but you loose more separation.

I was out today in an iron area using the Legend and 6" coil and it was getting a lot of false hits on iron.
I did have sensitivity max, Pitch, tone break 15, Iron filter 1, Stability 5 and Field mode.
It was getting false hits on iron like the Equinox.

We know there are jars of coins buried out there. Along old fence lines and other areas.
I haven't found one but I still know they are there.

I took a non waterproof detecting wading in Lake Michigan. It was pretty calm but a big wave came in and hit me and the detector was dead.
I laid it outside in the sun all day and turned it on and it was working perfect.
I would still send the Tarsacci in because it is waterproof.

I can understand those with great hearing would like more adjustment.
At 10" it is a softer hit for me. Not a whisper where I might miss it if the detector is a little noisy. So I personally like deep targets louder . So I have Audio gain at 6. When I get a hit I raise the coil to see how deep it is.
It shouldn't be to hard to make Audio gain quieter at 1 as long as 6 stays the s

It's coming with the 10" elliptical concentric coil that I consider small, that works very well.
For a smaller coil, Nel makes a coil called the Snake coil, that is 3.5 x 6.5 dd coil.
