Since 2006 when I retired I have recovered 26 Walkers and 8 Franklins. In conjunction, I have found 5 Barber halves and 1 Seated along with 4 Morgan dollars and 2 Peace dollars.
I started detecting in 1972 and began keeping pretty good records of finds in 2009 when I really got serious with the hobby. Prior years, kids growing up and not much hunting time. Can't find those earlier recor

Guv did make an announcement a few days ago that a new server was being installed and there would be some interruptions for a spell.
Dew, not a very professional response to your inquiry, I would say.

I don't disagree with donating finds to museums for "view for all to enjoy." Some of our museums, however, don't put all their acquired treasures out on display for all to enjoy. HH jim tn

Not many hoard's seem to get reported here in the U S. Any thing of size that may get found are probably kept hush, hush. And, perhaps, rightfully so. I wouldn't be against a law such as half going to the land owner and the other half going to the recoverer(s), something straight forward, thus keeping lawyers from getting involved. And, I am certainly not in favor of any forms of Govt.

Many of us know the importance of having various size coils for site applications. Just as importantly, IMHO, is also hunting hard hit spots from different angles and directions. And, being a little curious doesn't hurt either. My buddy and I were hunting a hard worked spot yesterday and I came upon a mixed tone target with my F 75 in 3H tones with the 5 x 10 DD coil on. I've tried a few larger and mid size after market coils on my 75's over the years and always seem to end up with the stock 11" as my larger coil and for smaller and in-between sizes, I also end up with the 5 x 10 DD and the 5" small DD, both by Fisher. That little 5" is a laser and gets really nice depth. HH jim tn

I am personally not overly concerned with the so called low price one can get for a used detector. I'm on my 3rd F 75, a LTD2, and as I recall I paid $1099.00 for it, less whatever I got for the F75 LTD I traded towards it. It continues to be my main detector and it has given me literally hundreds of hours of hunting pleasure and as a old coin hunter it continues to get the job done nicely f

Saw a post by him on another forum a while back and also some detectors for sale on another. He probably got tired of some of the drama that occasionally takes place here. He is a asset to the detecting community. HH jim tn

Thanks very much to everyone for their replies. Probably noted some where how many tones the Tarsacci has and thinking perhaps its two? I have literally hundreds of hours on the F 75 and rather successful coin hunting with it I've simply had a hard time trying to convince myself to try something new/different. Again, thanks everyone. Know the Tarsacci is currently being used mainly for water hunting, but am curious to know if anyone is seriously using it for turf hunting? I mostly hunt for old coins and a F 75 has been my main swing since they first came out. Dan (NM), hope to see some posts on how you like the Tarsacci for your kind of hunting. Anyway, I am curious if anyone is using one for coin hunting? Thanks, HH jim tn

Great jobs all around. Treasure diving should be great fun and a new challenge as well as loosing a few more pounds and then keeping the lost off. Good luck, bud. HH jim tn
