Totally agree with ya Daniel! My belief is if you don't work or won't work you should starve.

16 hours a day? That would only be if we got days off. We don't most of the time during the busy season for us. I work 3rd shift. 7-7. 12 hr shifts. 7 days a week. Not 16 hrs with 5 days. You learn to adapt and make it on about 4 hrs sleep or else all you do is sleep and work. I'm up all night and the smart phone is my lifeline to the outside world...thus my odd hours.

Well we have young runaways on the streets. Some ran because of sexual abuse. We have single moms with kids that are homeless. Some because their old man smacked them around. We have Veterans that are homeless. We have the mentally ill. And of course we just have the average family homeless because dad's factory closed up. It is nice to know that we have those out there that say " screw em let em starve". Makes me feel all warm inside. It also speaks volumes about some of our members. Now I understand some of the posts much easier.

Goodmore -- You are a special kind of stupid aren't you? Every example you made in your post above, is dealing with what SHOULD be temporary situations. It is that person's choice of whether or not to move on with their life or stay where they are on the street as you put it. Yes, life deals people unfair hands sometimes. BUT what you can't comprehend is that the people that really NEED the help can't get it because of the people that don't need it are abusing it and living off of it. Welfare, assisted living and such should be available for when those unfair hands are dealt as a way for a person to get back on their feet. Not for the people that make a choice to not work and live off the system.

If the able bodied men and women that are living off the system were made to get off it and get a job, the taxes they would pay in would be more than enough to pay for those who really need the help and can't get it now.

Hey Tom - I guess everyone has had a chance and this whole white vs. black thing seems to be getting ugly.

Plenty of old and recent blame and payback for those who wish to concentrate on that.

Our nation's problems are complex and a "black and white" view is not a path to a solution.

True that Rick. I don't think it should be shut down though. Everyone has some amount of prejudice in them, I don't care who you are, it's natural, it's survival from way back.

I would vote for a Republican candidate who was able to make compromises before I voted for Hillary. Some one like Reagan just a tad less socialist. Trump is a joke and will never be voted into office. Rubio could win it. Most of the country doesn't want a divisive candidate. Hopefully the Republicans don't shoot themselves in the foot. I would also vote for another Democratic besides Hillary, most of the time voting is just for the lesser of two evils. I won't vote for Trump.

I have several relatives and friends that have clearances (non military) that allows them to handle nuclear weapons.
