DrJoe, sorry for the loss of your pops. We are all trying to keep our country from heading the way of your birth places origin.

I won't support any administration that thinks the US constitution is something to be taking lightly.....even if they are voted in...no sir.

Surly you are joking. The only people it's going to bring out are the closet racists that Trump appeals to.

It has been widely reported that Trump relies on less educated Republicans and all you have to do
is check his supporters grammar and spelling in their posts to make up your own mind. LOL

So I take it from your post,,, we have already had the supposed smarter (intelligent) leading / running the country as president???
And if so where are we??

I always tell folks, it is not bad to be in debt,,, what is bad is when you are in debt and you have nothing to show for it.

I think this is where we are currently.

And I should point out-- there is no clear association that can be made between a good leader and high intelligence.

If this were the case,,, ole Edison, Einsten or folks like would have been elected president.

I think we should limit personal assisination here.

I will admit I might not be the sharpest stick here-- but make no mistake, I'm no dummy either--- I did win a regional mathematics contests when I was younger, and was look upon highly for solving difficult problems while I served in the USAF. And many times it was officers in the USAF I was being asked my help and opinion.

I think we should all show how we feel by VOTING.

And whatever the result-- RESPECT it.

If we don't do this--- we might as well say we INDEED belong to a banana republic.

Cheers

Here, I'll give you a little bio on me. I'm 61 years old and I grew up
around family and neighbors that were probably a lot like you.
They didn't know they were racist they just didn't like black
people, gays, Hispanics or Muslims. They would never come right
out and say so unless they were with each other.Basically they
didn't like anyone that wasn't like them. I still remember in grade school
kids repeating how their parents were glad when Kennedy was
shot. They were against the Civil Rights Act of 1964. I learned
as I grew older to judge individuals not on their race , religion
or ethnicity but by getting to know them. I've also learned in the
past few years it's not my place to judge anyone. That part is still a work
in progress.

I don't care what race a person is, whether they believe in God or not or which one they believe in if they do. What I don't like is people of the spoiled ME generation doing what they are doing. Yes I am in that same generation by age but I am not of the same entitlement mindset that the vast majority of them have. They remind me of the kids in a toy department causing a scene by throwing a temper tantrum because they didn't get a toy they wanted....and then the parents caving to it and getting the toy. That is all they know to do...throw tantrums, protest, cause a scene...and they get their way. I tried that ONE time when I was a kid and I got my tail end busted for it and didn't get the toy either. It taught me RESPECT for parents and authority which has never left me.

My parents, the only time in my life I ever saw such emotion from them, was when Kennedy was assasinated.
I'm not homophobic and like Hispanics but illegally crossing our boarders is wrong. Americans need jobs now,go on a construction site
or a welding shop and odds are it will be Mexicans doing the jobs Americans would be doing but the employer is paying them chump change
for skilled labor Americans should be doing. I'm not blind, personal experience and our president right on down the line have shown how blacks
feel about whites, the majority hang on to the past as an excuse for their laziness and criminal behavior, they hate whites. I like them just as much.
Just like radical Islam uses their quaran to justify beheading babies, children, women after they have raped them and tortured them,so yea I don't care for towel heads either, because it's been reported from many sources that muslime's in America support they're behavior. They literally burn people alive in the name of allah.

Sounds to me that you only see in people what you want and have been conditioned to see. The same thing you accuse others of doing.

There may be a more nuanced way of saying this but basically, you're full of crap.

Here's a bigger problem, the coming major renovation of our constitution to accommodate sweeping changes to the world under the guise of preventing "climate change".

2030 Agenda
Unanimous passing the UN back late last year.
The pope toured to support this.
Our leader went to the Paris climate change deal.
I find it hard to believe nobody cares what is going on behind closed doors.
Make sure whoever you vote for doesn't support this.
Think about what kind of (absolute) power this will give to country heads.

Original document link:
[sustainabledevelopment.un.org]

Here's the short-list of goals in the contained UN document. It is there for everyone to see.

Sustainable Development Goals

Goal 1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Goal 2. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
Goal 3. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
Goal 4. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
Goal 5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
Goal 6. Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all
Goal 7. Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all
Goal 8. Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all
Goal 9. Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation
Goal 10. Reduce inequality within and among countries
Goal 11. Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable
Goal 12. Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns
Goal 13. Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts*
Goal 14. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development
Goal 15. Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss
Goal 16. Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels
Goal 17. Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development

* Acknowledging that the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is the primary international, intergovernmental forum for negotiating the global response to climate change.

Supertraq, at my work we employ many Mexican migrant workers. I believe someone had made a comment about the me generation. Well the company I work for tries to hire locally, but the truth is without migrant workers the company would probably fold. That would cost many millions to the local economy. The problem is that lots of locals in need of employment want better pay but don't want to work for it, or work at all. I also don't believe that employer's are paying them chump change. They work hard and will find someone who will pay better and appreciates their labour.
I'm of mixed heritage as well and there are good and bad of both.

I've read about 2030 Agenda before myself.

They are trying to mandate socialism rather than allowing for a democratic process to take place. These UN mandates will give them unlimited power under the guise of achieving seemingly altruistic goals.

A total sham.

Well I think it is safe to say we are all of mixed heritage.

I truly feel a lot of Americans have decided not to work for lack of pride.

I mean a job is not what it was previosly-- no real pensions, no real job security.

Folks have lost faith and trust.

This is being displayed in the electorate.

Our internal economic system is in a tailspin of sorts.

And with this tailspin it seems we have personally lifted some 600 million Chinese out of poverty-- if you beleive the reports.

Rural America is gutted, folks have to drive farther and farther to work.

Even farmers now have to grow more and more produce just to survive-- part of this is attributed to technology which makes chores of farming a faster process.

It would seem to me-- we as humans being so smart,, with the invent of computer driven processes-- we are our own worst enemy.

Even faster freighter ships have made this global manufacturing process more possible.

Could China even suffer in the future like we currently are??

I mean it seems we have priced ourselves out of the market with added technology giving the final boost.

Could other currently underdeveloped countries eventually be where most of the manufacturing takes place-- after China indeed prices itself out of the market. And when will this happen??

I don't mind immigration as long as it is legal.

Even ole Hillary and Bernie both pledged not to deport any illegals currently in place as long as they are not criminals.
So they indeed went public and admitting they would support breaking the law-- this is very dangerous
What are folks to think?? Especially the younger generation folks.

I'm hoping for a knight to come riding in and save us-- our republic.

Will it happen??

Maybe the real answer is or should have been,,, instead of spending 2 Trillion dollars in Iraq,,, maybe we should have bought Mexico and made it the 51 st state-- I mean from a security standpoint Mexico southern border does set up well for securing the border.

It is also astonishing to see how far left the Democrat party is moving-- with all this talk and belief in totally free education,,not to mention free healthcare.

The truth is we are broke, our population is growing, our roads, bridges, infrastructure is crumbling or is out of date.

Where are the true believers who can indeed see this and indeed speak to this.

Trump is trying-- he is not perfect by no means-- the gent does travel around, seems he reads a lot, he is a risk taker.

I really don't know what is going to happen-- but the alarm bells inside the country have been sounded by some.

The only question is will enough people hear the sirens and act accordingly.

Sometimes in history you only have one bite at the apple,,, this could be it.

Time will tell.

And if appropriate swift action is not taken soon-- we will all pay a price.

We are not invincible by no means,,, the meltdown of 2009 showed.

This charade that the big money folks have been performing is near the end I feel-- I certainly hope so.

The world is watching too, wonder what they think.

And this mentality we are better off than some other countries--- is not a true gauge of how we really are doing.

I hate when politics inside this country gets reduced to the subject of Israel.
Why?? I feel when this happens we are in fact saying to a degree that Hitler infact won and is still winning.

We can't solve all the world's problems.
Doesn't take a degree from Harvard to see this--- yet these fruitcakes seem to think.

No,not buying that load of crap. That's what the owner yells you.
Do the Americans want to work for the wages Mexicans have brought the pay down to,no.
Illegals have put millions of skilled American craftsmen it of work because they will work for a third the pay and live woth 20 in a house.
If you want that for your future you have truly been brainwashed.

Min. Wage is $10 hr here. Most of our contractors make that or more plus work based bonuses. Nobody makes less then minimum wage. Our company pays more for the contractors than that. We would rather hire locals. Everyone is legal, the feds don't mess around.

If anyone believes Donald Trump (if his own party doesn't take it from him)is the answer then they are just lying to themselves. He belongs out front of a tent selling tickets to see the bearded lady. The downfall of the Republicans this election will be the minority vote. There will be no wall. (What a joke). There will be no mass rounding up of illegals. What there will be is a path to citizenship and a bunch of new tax payers. This isn't Nazi Germany. We will never go door to door. The babies born here are citizens. Their parents own property and belongings. Each and every deportation case gets a hearing. By the book and Constitution. It all boils down to a logistical nightmare. It will never happen. Anyone who thinks it will is a fool. Anyone making less than minimum wage has nobody to blame but themselves the Republicans and the fat cats who own them. It sure isn't the Mexicans. The Republicans and the fat cats tell you that your not worth a decent wage and you put up with it. Some cities and states are now passing their own minimum wage laws. The Republicans in Congress don't believe your entitled to a decent fair wage, but they can sure vote themselves one along with lifetime healthcare.

I think you are only kidding yourself if you think higher pay will make the "entitlement ME generation" want to work. I can tell you outright that they just don't WANT to work, no matter what the pay is. The reason is pretty simple. Why would they want to work for things, when they can live off the govt and sit at their house? As the old saying goes, "why buy the cow when you are getting the milk for free".

I will use my place of work as an example of this. The LOWEST paying full time job in the factory is $18 an hour with full benefits, 56 hours of vacation starting out and increasing the longer you are there. They furnish your uniforms to wear to work and safety boots. They also have an in house medical clinic and gym. Tennessee's minimum wage is $7.25 an hour...so therefore $18 an hour is more than double what the minimum wage rate is. Yet we can't find good workers that will show up to work. Some don't even make it through their training class before quitting. The department I am in, when fully manned, is 14 associates per 1st shift and 3rd shift. We have been running with about 9 associates for over a year now because HR can't find people to fill the spots. They will come in, work a week or two...maybe a few months. Then quit. Now a lot of these have been temporary workers; which they start out at $15 an hour, which is still double what minimum wage is. The company has never had a lay off in its history; since operation began in 1949. So therefore there is the bonus of job security to all of it. My department, since January 2015, has had just over 200 associates work in it that have came and gone. All of them have quit, and only one of that number got fired. The only people we get to stick around, are the people that are in their late 30s on up. The 18-30 crowd just don't want to work, and a lot of them that do show up for work, don't care about their job or their quality.

Someone is feeding them or they'd show up to work and do a good job.

Those left wing protesters going to Trump rallies is about as meaningful and smart as Auburn football fans going to a Alabama football pep rally wearing Auburn t-shirts and shouting that Alabama sucks. You sure don't see any Trump supporters going to Hillary's and Sanders' rallies now do you? That's because they have better sense. Those protesters ('disruptors') are just making the Trump supporters more committed to get out and vote. The news media should be pointing out how stupid the protesters are, but instead they're trying to paint Trump and his supporters as something bad. Good Lord, only Hillary and Sanders supporters would fall for that line of BS. LOL

It is the right of every American to protest. Picket lines have been used for many many things including Women's rights, Union rights, prohibition and of course wars and conflicts. It's one of the best things about America. What isn't needed or wanted is violence. That is where the line is drawn. Someone crosses that line on either side then they should suffer the consequences of the law.
