You know, I thought I would enjoy this forum, instead it's just like turning on CNN with this delirious nut job rambling on about Trump every @#$%& time I visit.

EVERY @#$%& DAY that @#$%& wacko GO-REBELS bumps this miserable thread to the top.

"Please feel free to discuss any metal detecting subject, in good taste and with due respect to all users."

I tried to be mature and not be bothered, let people do their own thing, not read it etc, but come on it's usually the only thread with new posts. It's not just GO REBELS, anyone who would continue to argue with that sad psycho must also have issues themselves.

Put this thread to rest already or this guy is going to ruin it for you, so long as I am allowed to participate in this forum. You wanted attention, now you got it.

Would you mind if I joined the forum you moderate to discuss politics? Somehow I doubt it, though I haven't tried.

Point taken! While it has always been a rule on FMDF to not discuss politics, it is up to the Owner/Admin here to decide what they are willing to allow. It is just because of the division this thread here shows that I am very glad the Owners/Admins at FMDF have never allowed it there! At least in this thread we are seeing some of each side of the discussion, unlike the "Views" on yet another detecting site.
Thanks AirTester for the reply, take care.

It is not easy to read and hear about the world as it is these days. It's often puts a fellow in a bad mood. Sometimes even I say things that should be kept to myself. True words.grinning smiley

Gets frustrating as we get older. We want the world to be one way, but it's not, we want people to think a certain way, but they don't.....and there's not much you can do about it.

One thing we do have in common is locating and digging man made items of our past. We live in that world to get away from the one tangled in haywire.....keeps us from dropping all our marbles.

Keep at this thread I say, it ain't that bad.....mostly entertaining until ya get caught up in a bad day. Peace out!

What's up with Lyin' Ted Cruz pushing his own healthcare bill that allows younger folks to opt out of comprehensive health care plans? That will drive up premiums for older, sicker folks bigly and probably send the Obamacare insurance markets into a death spiral, accomplishing the demise of Obamacare in practice rather than legislatively.

The truth is that Repubicans have no interest in improving healthcare in this country. They only have only two goals: 1. Destroy Obamacare & 2. Give a huge tax cut to the very rich.

Healthcare is quite complicated.
Remember Pelosi, she said read the ACH bill after you vote for it.

There are a lot of unknowns with human health.

Funny thing is auto insurance companies, life insurance companies seem to manage.

How much corruption is there in the medical, insurance, and drug whatever?
I think loads.

I have been dealing with such, even the billing from medical care is not clear cut.
Some thing else Inhave witnessed twice, and folks may indeed find this helpful.

My 80 plus old mother-in-law has blue cross policy to supplement here Medicare.

She goes for doctors appointment with shingles.
She is treated and no return visit to doctor for shingles,
Actually she she a docot very little for her age.
Anyway, about 3 weeks later she gets a bill for if I remember right $400.
Said she owed $400.

So I called the folks at doctors office billing department.
And asked how in the world could my mother in law owe $400 with her having Medicare and this good blue cross supplemental a policy.

It didn't take long, the lady said oh, you can forget about that bill , everything is taken care of you owe nothing.
Was this $ 400 billing deliberate?
I suspect so.
I can't prove but I think these places are preying on older folks.
They indeed know their patients age.
It would have been very easy for my Mother in law to have sent them a check for $400.
The question is, would this folks at the billing dept, if they would have ever realized of the supposed mistake. Would they have returned her $400 she paid erroneously?

2 years later, just recently I took my mother in law to emergency room. Was diagnosed with brochitis.
Basically the same thing happened except this time they said she owed $3300.
So I called again, and sure enough they responded they had made an error.
So she gets a bill for $37 after both of her insurance plans paid.
Which after review I considered correct.

Folks with senior citizens you care for.
Be on guard.

Understood, I just couldn't help but think maybe it puts the Owners/Admin in an awkward position, maybe a little self moderation would be courteous, that's all. Though I admit I really don't their opinion. Maybe they like watching a lefty meltdown as much as the next guy.

This is the second time I read someone referring to the "View" in regards to one of my posts, you are going to have to fill me in on that one.

Strange times we live in. In my country I actually voted liberal on the federal level despite their shady financial track record simply because the federal conservatives were kinda boring and wanted to lock everybody up. Point being you have to be open minded, it's the regular people that "are" the country, they are the ones who steer the ship. If it veers too far left, you turn to the right, which is what happened last fall.

That is why I can't believe for a minute that someone can disagree with 100% of what the other side says, that's bullshit. I think Go Rebels is doing a whole lot of iron falsing. To be able to stand belly into the wind of reality and still talk like that is quite remarkable. Perhaps that is why there is a lot of liberal actors.

After the USA got race-baited in to voting in an inexperienced lifetime student because he is black, supposedly much more "sophisticated" then the cowboy before him, they weren't falling for the pandering of the first female president just because she talked about carrying hotsauce in her purse or because Beyonce told them to.

I'm not anti-liberal. Bill Clinton was a pretty good president IMO and also a flawed man. At the time I think Hilary deserved some credit because she was the go getter behind the scenes that kinda ran things while Billy was more concerned with getting someone to whistle into his pants. She missed the boat that's all, she got caught up in herself, became crooked and entitled.

Fiscally speaking, Trump out-leagues even Bill Clinton. Trump is a financial professional that deals with money in the real world private, capitalist sector, not the "tax" sector. Say what you want on how he got his start, but I think bouncing back from a bankruptcy to be a vital skill. Anyone can do it, but can they recover.
The government is business and needs to be ran like one. It is a business for the citizens to profit from, not the civil servants.

The job of president is too important to put in a Ken or Barbie doll, or whatever "ideal" that is trendy at the time.

Watch the documentary from a few years back about his airplane. Then man is meticulous, they comb the suede before he gets aboard. That is the type of tenacious tediousness you need in a person you want running the country.
Watch the documentary about that wind resistant state of the art skyscraper he is building, in Chicago I think. World class architecture, again this is the type of person you need leading the way on infrastructure.

He is not a professional public speaker like Barack or crooked Hillary so people should get so caught up in what he says on twitter. Ironically Twitter is the only place you guys are getting real transparent news.

Finally someone comes up with a salient point here instead of inane insults and liberal talking points.
In the "healthcare" debate everyone wants to ignore the 800 pound gorilla sitting on the 4000 pound rhinoceros in the room that they keep walking around.

The gorilla.........
Auto and homeowner insurances are economically profitable and viable because they are protections against the UNPREDICTABLE while healthcare insurance is an attempt to protect one from the INEVITABLE. You cannot financially protect someone from the inevitable , you can only prepay the expenses which leads you to the rhinoceros.....
Anytime you establish a deep pool to pay the expenses of a program the cost of that program becomes uncontrollable...why do you think fixing a dented fender costs 5 times as much with insurance as it does without it.? Same with dental insurance and the same with veterinary care in the last 20 years.

When Hillary and Bubba initiated the first strong attempt at cramming total health insurance at the American people 25 years ago , even the Dems rejected it. When FDR and LBJ introduced their larval insurance plans they were guaranteeing a voter base for themselves by addicting the populous to a form dependency stronger than the worst form of opiates and , when Obama and his runaway Socialist Congress cemented the addiction , they assured a future for the U.S. of internal strife and insolvency which will dwarf the past.

Some comments about the Trump Jr meeting with Russian lawyer.
And I haven't seen this brought up on any of the MSM networks.

It has been reported Obama new of Russian meddling as of May sometime last year.
So, this make me want to ask these questions?

Where was this initial email sent to Trump Jr., where did it originate?
Did it originate in Russia?
Notice the text of the email what it mentions.

I guess what I'm asking, why didn't CIA intercept this email.
Actually any emails where it mentions Russian government involvement.
Remember Obama didn't leave office until Jan of this year.
And this was never picked up.
And where any others actually picked up?
Even involving the democrat side of the house.

Related topic.
Hillary's email server.
I have always wondered, were any of her emails intercepted because the subject or text stood out for whatever reason by CIA, especially since her personal server didn't have .gov suffix.
It would have been one thing to see Possibly sensitive info being sent from and to .gov or whatever the appropriate suffix is for secure government server for Sec of State or any cabinet member really.
And as far as these deleted emails of hers go, where else could/ would there be a possible record of them?
Personally, I think Hillary being able to even use a personal server for official business for as long as she did, shows either our CIA and or FBI was out to lunch, or they knew and stayed silent, looked last or whatever.
I mean think of what some of the titles, and subject matter of the emails that were being discussed and or exchanged. (Remember Comey stated gmail account had more security)
She deleted a lot of email.
Had to be a reason (good or bad) depending on which side of the aisle you are on,

Now, think about this.
Based on what we know about Hillary and her private server, and what has been revealed by Comey, could Hillary indeed have been a spy for another nation?
Think about this, what would a spy do differently than what Hillary did?
And the answer here, makes my point.
As far as we know she was never intercepted.
And nothing has been leaked thus far revealing that she was.

I guess maybe someone more knowledgeable than myself here could shed light.
When an email is sent from abroad through channels, just where is the actual email recorded?
And can an email actually be intercepted, where data could be gotten, yet no server or computer is actually hacked? Real time or after the fact.

I guess what I'm asking is as far as email goes.
Where can fingerprints be found?
And if so, how long do the fingerprints hang around?

I like Jr's story related to his original meeting setup by weirdo Rob Goldstone who was an acquaintance that Jr. supposedly met at a beauty pageant years ago. Here's Goldstone wearing Trump's championship merchandise:

So at the height of the presidential campaign Jr says:
Jr.: "Hey Jared, Paul, I know you're a little busy right now but I want you to come to a meeting."

    Jared; "With who?"

    Jr.; "I don't know."

    Paul: "About what?"

    Jr.: "I'm not telling you,"

    Jared: "OK, we're in."
How does Jared Kushner still have any security clearance today?

Any governmental official who can use a private server and transmit multiple classified emails and never be intercepted by either or CIA or FBI is extraordinary !

And this should have been discussed more.

I can say the same thing about the Trump Jr email with lawyer.
When he was first contacted.

Were there any emails about Benghazzi transmitted through this private server of Hillary's.

Bottom line, it seems to me we don't even have proper provisions in place to indeed catch a possible spy ?
And maybe could say the same thing about a possible terrorists or terrorists attack.
Or could the focus on terrorism be one of the reasons Hillary was not intercepted or even Trump Jr. Email.

We have missed the bigger story here I think over the last 18 months or so.
With what has transpired.

Someone communicating right under their noses (Hillary) and no detection.
Red flag big time.

As usual Goodmore, you can't see the forest for the trees.

No intercepts reported on anyone really when it comes to topics that one would think would be suspect of possible wrongdoing.
We definitely shouldn't be depending solely on the press to find such.

Go-rebels epitomizes the leftwing way of thinking. They want to talk about non-issues or trivial issues about Trump. On the other hand, they want to either avoid or defend real issues about Obama and Hillary. I'd bet my life if I did what Hillary did with her private server and destroyed emails after they were subpoenaed, I'd be thrown under the jail for the rest of my life. What makes it worse is that these crazy leftwing loons would still vote for her. Where were Hillary and Obama when the Benghazi attack was underway? Why didn't they take the necessary precautionary actions? They had amble warning. After the attack was underway why didn't they send in the cavalry. Why did they lie and blame a video on the attack? Was Obama concern about getting re-elected more important to him than the lives of those that were under attack in Benghazi? The leftwing nuts would rather talk about Trump's tweets and hairdo than real issues. I think more and more people are realizing just how looney the leftwing nuts have become. The democrat party has been hijacked. It's not the same party it was a few decades ago. Trump is too much in the middle of the road for a hardcore conservative like myself.

That is not the same thing at all.

Hillary was caught, then let go because of corruption and coverups.

If the hysteria around Don JR's nothing meeting is an indicator of an appropriate response then why absolutely no crying foul on Hillary?

Because all this Russia stuff is bullshit. The left is projecting.

It is the left that got pulled over and now saying "but what about Trump?" They would love nothing more then for Trump to get caught up in the exact same thing they are guilty of, it's their only way out.

You probably don't remember, but Crooked Hillary was caught colluding within her own party against Bernie the Commie. Caught red handed, tried to get Bernie into a religious war with the south because he is Jewish. They think nothing of turning citizens against each other, even high ranking members of their own party. That alone should have disqualified her from the running, forget everything else.

Ruthless narcissists.

Just like Go Rebels, no mater how bad you make him look, he just wants to be heard, "please look at me! I'm special!".

According to James Comey Hillary was not prosecuted because the level of intent was not enough to do it under the law. She was not let go. I would assume the Director of the FBI knows the law when it comes to classified material.

Very interesting and telling that people defending Trump think (and I use that word loosely) that the best defense is going after Obama and Hillary.

I have no real interest in Trump and his misdeeds ...he will be nothing more than a small footnote in a history book....eventually. My overwhelming concern is Putin and the lengths he has gone through to MEDDLE in so very many sovereign countries!

That is the REAL story here and every American should be concerned!

Seems Comey broke the law when it comes to classified material.

.Knowledgeable bloke ain't he.

Let's see how hard this is.
Was at the time he wrote a paid government employee executing his duties.
Was in a government vehicle.
Was using a government computer.

I think you can go ask any enlisted person or officer in the military with a security clearance and they would know what seems like Comey didn't.
Fascinating!

What is missing here?
A 10 year term was given to FBI position.
To try and alleviate at some do the politics around the position.

So, what is the prescribed actions a FBI director should take in the event they do see something illegal going on?
Bet there isn't a thing in writing anywhere.

What Comey should have done is contact leaders of both parties in the senate and the house and met behind closed doors and spilled the beans.
But would you expect a showboater like Comey to do?

It's not a "defense" if they did nothing wrong.

It is pointing out how ridiculous the accusations sound coming from the condescending, dismissive left. Just look at the passive aggressive tone in which you write.

Russia has meddled with the US since WWII and it didn't seem to bother anyone until Trump got in.

It was Obama's job over the last 8 years to address such issues, but he didn't. Instead he gave the Russians "flexibility".

So you sound very irrational to blame Trump for Russia meddling when he wasn't even in the position to do anything about it at the time.

Watch the look on Obama's face when he finally realizes, "oh oh, I think my microphone was on" Opps

This is the first time a presidential campaign actively sought the help of the Russians to influence an election through hacking and actively spreading fake news through social media.

When exactly did the GOP fall in love with the Russians?

They want to talk about non-issues or trivial issues about Trump.

Yeah, like healthcare... by the way, how's that 'Repeal and Replace' coming along? grinning smiley

Where were Hillary and Obama when the Benghazi attack was underway?

*SIGH...*

You do know that Grouchy Trey Gowdy trashed his career back in October 2015 after Hillary took him to the woodshed during the congressional hearings?

If that turns out to be the case, how is it any different then say, pandering to illegal immigrants? Seems having Mexico and Mexicans ticked off with trump served the Democrats pretty well. It almost worked but the strategy was a little ahead of it's time. "Border hacking" is still hacking.

See I come from a country that dipped it's toes into "multiculturalism" with the first Trudeau, so I am all too familiar with the act of selling out your country long term for short term votes.

Did you know there have been attempts to get Sharia law passed in Canada? No joke, this is the consequence of 30 years of insufficiently vetted immigration.

You have to be careful in a demographic society. Where not as bad off as Europe, people can't just walk in, but the element of evil is still there.

They discovered a terrorist training camp 20 minutes out of town. The leader alleged "The ringleader gave sermons comparing the Canadian countryside to Chechnya, and calling for victory over "Rome", which prosecutors alleged was a reference to Canada." 2006 Ontario terrorism plot Right under our noses.

My advice is if you don't want foreign influence, then do let more foreigners into your country then you can assimilate within a given time frame.

I can't fathom with the immediate threat with places like North Korea and the ongoing issues going on with Islamic terrorism, why you guys can't come together, stop with the bipartisan distractions.

Trump is the epitome democrat, that is why he won, what more do you want? At least he doesn't play the banjo with his toes. The left got so caught up in identity politics they lost sight of what a real democrat looks like. Trump and Bill Clinton would probably make good friends under different circumstances.

You have to understand they voted for the person, not the political party. I'm sure Trump may "align" a little better naturally with the conservative side, but don't kid yourself he would have won as a democrat too.
Honestly I was a little surprised to hear him running as a republican, seems like it would have been easier for him as a democrat.
