Alright,
I spent about 40 minutes with the detector(800 model) out sweeping and checking a few things.
Noise cancel process, best I've seen as far as selecting and cycling vs fbs/fbs 2 detectors.
Ergo rating (nose heaviness compare to Deus wearing 11" LF coil) Deus wins by a smidge. Very close.
Navigating settings a breeze. I even ventured into advanced settings.

That one video liable to drive Equinox sales off the charts even more.
Is this part of the obsoleting we heard about?? Just pondering.

Unit packing is good.
The wireless headphone case has a little zippered storage for charge cable and the cable for use to hardwire wireless headphones to detector in case your wireless battery dies.
All contents seem to be in package as outlined in instruction manual.
Remember folks you only get one coil bolt.

Call me crazy.
But seems like Equinox is more like knife blade (I.e. Speed setting 5) as far as how it is picking up targets. Maybe will take more homing with coil to improve ID characteristics. But locating a find is paramount first, not ID. We'll see how Equinox here compares to fbs types in polluted sites.
Heck, I am trying to win another prize here.lol
Food for thought here.

Interesting vid.
Reminds me of a post I posted just recently here.
Funny thing is, seemed to me the ring became more detectable when iron was added. I thought it was supposed to be the other way around.
Reckon adding the second nail and lining up with the for aft of coil of coil did some thing?
Like to see the nails crossed swept, with exact same settings used to sweep nails and ring.
