Steve I got right at 2" left on full extension of shaft. But I'm mainly looking for streamlined lower for better swinging in the water.

My thoughts exactly. I've never had great luck with coiltek coils. I never thought they did anything great as compared to stock coils.

Ok I just now tried this with equinox and simplex .. nox single frequency 4 got a solid. 28, freq 5 solid 26, freq 10 solid 24, 15 solid 22, 20 solid 20, 40 solid 17-18 and multifrequency a 16. Simplex got a 54. This was 2 fingers apart. Small fingernail size beaver tail piece and merc dime. Park 2 mode sensitivity at 15

Hey Steve are you buying a tarsacci? Just curious ifnyou do look into that arm cuff and see if one could be made offset by 2" . Maybe like F75 arm cuff?

It could also be done by cutting the carbon fiber shaft on tarsacci between grip and battery and adding extension. But that would compromise waterproof value ?? Maybe? I'm 6'4" size 17 shoes so I need it to fit close as possible to elbow soni can extend the coil out past my feet lol.

An arm cuff could be made with wings so to speak. Could be an open style with it extending back towards elbow with a 2-3" cuff under the arm but open down above battery cap. Similar to a cantilever scope mount on a rifle or shotgun. 3D printer could make one or cut from carbon fiber . I think it could be done. Or even aluminum.

Looks like from my own experience and what I'm reading on here, middle shaft needs a single hole to attach button for connecting to upper and no holes in lower middle shaft because lower rod will not have any button, just a strong clamp . KISS. Works for me. Make each section 2" longer or more depending on what the user wants.

Ok I shipped the coil and both middle and lower shaft from my tarsacci to Steve just now. Monday is delivery date . Thanks Steve for doing this very much appreciated.

Yeah I'm 6'4" also and use the tarsacci but thankfully the coil attaches to lower rod closer to the edge and that keeps coil out away from m

Glad you posted this Steve. Thank you! Once I get back from North Carolina so Calabash can do some testing I will send you the required items you need to do this. Oh and I'd be interested in a red/black lower

NASA Tom just sold a million coils lol this sounds spectacular! Is anyone interested in a smaller diameter middle and lower carbon fiber shafts for their tarsacci? I will be sending Steve what he needs to build some of anyone is interested. Will be nox shaft size and should glide through water easier and may even reduce weight on the coil end of the detector. Let me know sorry for hijacking

Ok I was thinking it was close to the 12kHz. Weird that it was the only frequency doing it.

I ordered the 12" coil too so you will have both coils, waterproof headphones by Tony Eisenhower and charging stuff batteri
