I have a 3D and a 70 Pro. The 70 is hard to beat, not sure if 'd say its slower though. I got a 7aPro for a buddy of mine last spring and he smoked me many a time finding deep wheats and silver dimes over the summer.
I think its very safe to say all the CZ's are great machines.

Hey guys, I remember the Big Bud Pro SED from back in the day as being a really good machine and I think Johnson and Payne had something to do with the platform. I know someone who is interested in selling his with 10, 8 and 7 inch coils. Just wondering if I can get any info on the machine and what a fair price would be?
Thanks, Aaron

Right, exactly. History has tought our government nothing. Look at any society in history that had a "fiat currency" money system and they ALL have failed. The dollar will be no different.

I do not doubt that...I am glad however I invested in gold a few years ago, my portfolio is finally doing something besides losing money. I find it so ironic how all these so called financial experts having been saying not to invest in commodities like precious metals because their so "unstable", and how you should invest in big businesses that are even more "unstable" and gre

I made the mistake of sending my CZ-70 Pro to a guy that claims that he can fix them better than the "new" FISHER because "they have all new people", which I found is not true. I think most of you know who Im talking about. To make a long story short, the guy had my machine for 6 months. I sent it to him because it wasnt getting good depth, only air testing a dime at 6".

Um, considering Tom invented the 3D...I think you should already know what his comments on this question will be.
And by the way...my 3D is my favorite of all my machines.

Beautiful! Congratulations!
I have been digging alot of foil signals too lately with my 3D, being that Tom said that. Still yet to find my 1st gold ring with the 3D though.

I'd say that was a great ratio, considering mine is right maybe 75% of the time. The other times when it says nickel (in salt) it will tend to be a beaver tail.
Now...when I'm using my 70 Pro, that beast is a nickel KILLER! Its usually right 90% of the time.

Yes, they are still currently selling the 3D over here.
I have only had my SE for a few months, it does go deep, however, I do not think it has anything as far as depth on a properly tuned 3D. I've been finding pennies and silver dimes with my 3D with a 5" coil at 7"-8" and they sounded off like a ton of bricks.
The MineLab is a really good machine however, they have some

These words are EXTREMELY true. I have a SE Pro, and it has been one of the most diificult machines to use. YES...it is true it is very good for finding deep silver, however, finding nickles is not easy, alot of those guys dont bother with them, and gold rings well...I feel the 3D's vdi is superior (in some ways) to the Minelabs. I think the best thing about it is its unique ability to be ab

I concur. I love my 3D, it is my goto machine. Out of all my machines, it has found me the best stuff this year. The more I use it the more I love it. I started using the 5" Fisher coil, and its finding me even more deep coins in trashy areas I've been pounding. Now all I need is for Tom to do the AU-21x mod to it...;-)
Dont sell it, trust me. Everyone one that does wants them back...

Thanks alot Vito.
I called FISHER today and talked with one of the service guys and asked him him the same question. He said optimal performance is the same as the guy who worked on mine...a dime at 8-9inches sensitivity @ 8. I told him that the highest I can run this machines sensitivity is 4, anything higher I start getting alot of falsing. He told me I probably need to ground balance better,

I had my CZ-70 Pro serviced by somebody because it wasn't getting good depth, only air testing a dime at 6". The guy tuned it and left a message yesterday and said it tests a pennie at 8" with the sensitivity set at 8. This does not sound right to me mainly because I can only usually run the machine mostly at 4. Anything higher I get falsing and chatter. I need to call him back tod

I think I saw that thing at the hardware store. As I recall it was made by the eame company that makes OFF, and you wear it on your belt and you have to put replaceable things in it... but it was sold out. Is that the one?

All I know is that it works for me. We have been getting HAMMERED by the mosquitos at my favorite park especially by the wooded area. I was there for almost 2.5 hrs without a problem. I just put it on my arms, face and neck and I had a great night. I will not put that DEET chemical on my kids. It was originally invented as a nerve agent back in the 50's. My family has been using it successfu

It was perfect weather this evening so I made it to my favorite park tonight for 2hrs. I brought my 1270X. Its a proto-type that looks just like a regular 1270 except the iron disc was converted into a aluminum disc. You can disc out 80% of all pulltabs and still get large gold rings. And thats what I was doing digging mostly pulltabs and coins, in hopes of finding large gold rings. Anyway, I had

Hey Guys,
Due to all the rain we've been getting and the mild winter the mosquitos are especially nasty this year in SE Mi. I been using, Avons Skin So Soft. Its like some kind of bath oil spray, it really works well, and best of all its non-toxic. I try to stay away from the DEET stuff. I didnt get bit once and I was out till 11pm.
Thanks,
Aaron
