What so hard about understanding that the Fake News Media put the story out there and Trump responded to it? It's really simple to understand if you have any commonsense at all.

While all agree the U. S. President has the complete power to pardon, why think of that when only crime so far is LEAKS against us. FAKE NEWS

Yet the Deplorables had no problem supporting leaks of the DNC. And didn't your God Donald Trump say that he loved Wikileaks?

The leaks will continue and the media will continue to examine them. Tabman, might as well get used to them and quit crying like a petulant child...

I remember him saying he loves Wiki leaks. Plain as day. And don't forget Assange was hiding in an embassy to keep from being arrested for raping a teenage girl. Could be the start of the deplorables! The powers of the pardon? Use it wisely orange one. Use it wisely. Once used half of those that support you now will turn. Riding 36 percent approval doesn't leave any wiggle room. The budget will be the next battle arena. If Congress agrees on the budget with no money for the wall again the Republicans should pack their bags. All liberals are holding their breath for one thing. That those two Supreme Court Justices hang in there. Taking the rest of the day off. Last day of vacation. That went quick. If the ground was softer I would do some detecting.

You reckon Pelosi and Schumer even know how to hold their breaths?

Or is this what the left has been doing the whole time, hence the SCOTUS consistently remaining leaning right?

Btw, I don't remember Hillary even referring the SCOTUS while campaigning very often.

Trump not only talked about but put together a list of candidates for nomination as SCOTUS justices.

Again Hillary came up short.
Trump was very proactive here.

She was too busy telling folks how unfit Trump was.
Dummy.
Not her job to do in the first place.
Re: OT: Who would you like to see as our next president, and why?tongue sticking out smiley

You see Hillary as a politician doesn't understand a basic key strategy when it comes to winning.
What is this exactly?
She doesn't have a clue when it comes to multiple prong attacks.
And having a person elected president who doesn't grasp this would be DANGEROUS.

Now, go back and look at what happened in her campaign.
If I didn't know better Hillary was parroting the MSM, versus the other way around.

You see Hillary should have let the MSM do their thing, and she should have done "her" thing.
Like pointing out clear relatable examples of why she is the better choice.
Based on "her" record of accomplishment. (Not bubba's either)

Stay positive.

But, when you get right down to it, and Hillary knew this, she didn't have anything she could talk to us about where her involvement made a difference or had a positive outcome.
She again thought folks would in their minds draw a clear association with her vs how Bubba did as Pres.

Look Hillary didn't give a rats azz about Obama.
All she wanted was his black supporters and the younger voters who turned out for him in 2008.
Again even here Hillary made a bad assumption.
Hillary fails to understand an aging electorate, its existence. ( the younger folks weren't even age eligible to vote when Obama won 2008) so this group needed to be reached initially, and hence Bernie did this, not Hillary.

And the White folks who indeed voted for bubba are much older if they are even still breathing.

8 years had passed, but Hillary ran like the clock had stood still.
Dummy

Trump on Twitter: GOP 'do very little to protect their President'

President Donald Trump on Sunday afternoon claimed that GOP lawmakers "do very little to protect" him.

"It's very sad that Republicans, even some that were carried over the line on my back, do very little to protect their President," Trump wrote on Twitter after a visit to Trump National Golf Club in Virginia.

It's sad that you've degenerated into ad-hominem attacks, but alas, it's a common tactic with the Deplorables. I thought you were better than that.

Why do you hate education Buster? It seems a common failing of your ilk. Hannity and Rush constantly preach what a waste education is.

Conservatives are increasingly hostile to higher ed. Who can blame them?

The collapse of GOP support coincides with the popularization of a militant brand of liberal political activism that gestates on college campuses.

The Pew Research Center has a new survey confirming that, as you'd expect, Republicans have little love for institutions such as media and labor unions. What's surprising, however, is the extent to which Republicans have grown hostile toward colleges and universities, and how quickly their attitudes have changed.

Pew found that 58% of self-identified Republicans and Republican-leaning independents believe that colleges and universities have a negative effect on “the way things are going in the country.” Only 36% disagreed. As recently as 2010, 55% of the GOP viewed colleges positively.

Go-dribbles,
I don't hate education.
I just don't think education makes a dummy a genius.
And I don't think an above average minded person by not having education is a dummy either.

Now, let's look at our founding fathers.
Notice no educational requirements needed to hold office stated in the constitution.

Fast forward, look at who or what we have had making decisions and ruling our country in the last 40 years.
Would it be fair to say, most folks holding elected position at the federal level hold higher level degrees?
If so, then why or how in the world have we wound up where we are?

Oh, or is it these politicians, they basically kick what they learned getting the degrees they got to the curb.
This what they learned not important anymore.

Wonder what the real answer is?

Or is it, can leadership really be taught, or is it just natural?

And have we as a nation conflated education and educational degrees with actual potential leadership qualities a candidate has.

Go-rebels, do you see any cognitive thinking going on here?

Also take a look at this link.
Professor Williams was a guest on Fox News.
She is a democrat btw.

Seems her assessment is very near my own.

Leadership? As the American voters found out it depends what you are leading. A successful CEO doesn't necessarily have the skills to run a country. Two different thing entirely. Plain to see Donnie never heard the word NO too many times in his life. Deal Makers? Hardly! Just a Bully. And when it comes to politics Bullies are lost when it comes to compromise. You can't tweet yourself out of bad situations either. In fact he seems incapable of seeing those tweets are just counter productive to him.

I want our next president to deliver on his/her promises.

GOP despairs at inability to deliver

The party’s failure to repeal Obamacare amid West Wing chaos has GOPers frustrated they’re squandering power.

The Republican Party is more powerful than it’s been in more than a decade — and yet it has never seemed so weak.

Continuing chaos in the White House has been punctuated by the failure to deliver on the GOP’s seven-year pledge to overhaul Obamacare, and has many asking whether the party can capitalize on the sweeping victories it has achieved at the federal, state, and local levels.

Ahead of this week's crucial Senate vote on health care, White House aides are already considering how to distance President Donald Trump from Congress and how to go after the Republicans who vote no — an idea the president seems fond of, according to people who have spoken to him. Several people said he plans to keep up the fight, no matter how this week's vote goes

As PJ O'Rourke said: "Republicans run on the platfrom that government does not work. Then, they get elected and prove it!"

More cognitive thinking.

Hillary's fools gold.

Yep, think about this.

Trump's trip down the escalator and saying what he did was Hillary's fools gold.
Why?

Because the left and the MSM kept talking and talking and talking abort Trump's comments.
Polls even were taken and showed Trump polling low with Hispanics.

So basically Hillary swore she had the White House in the bag.
She was just hoping Trump would be the nominee.
Easy pickings in her mind.

What Hillary again failed to understand about politics.
The American people, they watch where a candidate goes to campaign.

There is a difference in going to a place to campaign to sway voters on your own,,,vs going to these same places because your opponent is campaigning and swaying voters.

Hillary was viewed by these folks as not being true to their interests or even cared.
Just went through the motions.
Now Hillary didn't visit all the rust belt states like she should have WHEN she should have.

To cap this off here, Trump even told America how he was going to win.
Was Hillary listening.

When you think about this, if Hillary really believed she had states locked up due to Hispanic voters.,,then why didn't she campaign more in the rust belt.

Almost like she was campaigning to prevent Trumo from winning vs just herself winning outright.
Prevent defenses in football, what do they get a team usually?

Identity politics not the best way to run and manage a campaign.

I want our next president to respect the dignity of the Office.

Gotta love the response:

Schiff responds to Trump’s ‘sleazy’ tweet

The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee shot back at President Donald Trump Monday morning, writing on Twitter that Trump’s conduct is “beneath the dignity of” the presidency.

Trump, who has long labeled the multiple ongoing investigations into Russian efforts to interfere in last year’s presidential election a “witch hunt,” attacked Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) Monday morning on Twitter, accusing him of using his committee’s probe as a platform to spend time on TV.

“Sleazy Adam Schiff, the totally biased Congressman looking into ‘Russia,’ spends all of his time on television pushing the Dem loss excuse!” Trump wrote.

Schiff was quick to shoot back, linking back to the president’s post and writing “with respect Mr. President, the problem is how often you watch TV, and that your comments and actions are beneath the dignity of the office.”

The president’s attack against Schiff mirrors one made late last week by one of his top advisers, Kellyanne Conway. In an interview on “Fox & Friends,” the counselor to the president said Schiff had spent more time on television that he had in hearings overseeing his committee’s Russia investigation.

“I mean, literally, Adam Schiff walks around with a cutout of the Capitol above his head instead of having these hearings,” she said.

Pretty measured response from Schiff considering he didn't use a phrase like, "This guy is obviously mentally disturbed." And mascara delivery system Kellyanne shows she literally does not know what "literally" means.

I finally figured out why you have this thing for Hillary. She called you deplorable and hit you dead center bulls-eye with it. Here's the reality that you fail to comprehend. Donnie isn't just alienating Liberals with his deplorable behavior. He is turning off those voters that were on the fence, but pulled the lever for him because they just plain hated Hillary. Tabman sets the bar low, real low, in an attempt to garner some modicum of success upon seeing the slightest activity from The Orangeman. He won't see much substantial as the GOP leadership in Congress has virtually given up on achieving any legislative success in the near term. Tax reform? Not a chance with the ACA still in uncertainty. The Wall? Making it transparent creates unique challenges. Job growth? How long will it be until the Ignorants realize that the Fed's unemployment numbers are real? Trump will effectively be a Lame Duck by this time next summer when he pivots into campaign mode again, assuming that he doesn't drown in the Russian scandal of his own making before then.

It's a damn shame he never pivoted to be a real President...
