You nailed it! There's way too much free stuff out there for able bodied people to mooch off of. The Dems for the most part have created a voting base that's dependent upon government assistance.

Air Tester has shown his true color (he's an idiot). Sod Buster (to me) seems different. There appears to be a passion there...his posts are so long (and so numerous..I just wish he'd acknowledge the difference between STATUE AND STATUTE).

I think, in general, it is very NAIVE to categorize people as either liberal or conservative. Then the discussion breaks down to them against us. Reminiscent of how we treat our sports events..when our team loses we were robbed..when they win they are fantastic! .

One point I'd like to make about Trump's "over-whelming" victory in the election. He LOST the election on a popular vote basis! And it was only the archaic electoral college which allowed his win. Even Trump himself has stated previously that the electoral college be eliminated.

I am of the opinion* that Trump has absolutely no ability to be president...and it is becoming more and more clear to most American. How will this end? Trump will have a face saving way of resigning....possibly health related.

This talk of "moochers" ...I believe is very misguided. If you look into it more closely you'd find a different story. My opinion is : "I believe when we have plenty .. we share."

Just listening to NPR right now...some very interesting information about Donald Sr. promising "exciting" revelations concerning the Clintons at just about the time Donald Jr was having his meeting. The "exciting" revelations never came...hmmm...odd!

*That opinion comes from many years of having his name in the news in one way or another. He is an awful human being with absolutely no value to society. (Hmm. I seem to be opinionated). When he announced his candidacy I laughed..when he won the Republican nomination I was puzzled but kept laughing. When he won the election...I cried...for America!

Very well stated. It should never be about us vs them. Right now it is part of us vs Trump.Being liberal
I am not upset the other side won .I am upset that the other side could choose some idiot like Trump.
John Kasich would have made a much better candidate even though I disagree with a lot of his
policies

Doc,
I'll take your comment as a compliment..

Let be be clear here, if while actually serving as Pres Donald Trump himself is found to have broken the law, or done something that goes without a doubt against the principles of our constitution,
I'll be the first to admit and he will become one of the above groups I mention, meaning lower than whale shxt.

But currently this is not the case.
The left would like to think and would like to brainwash the rest it has happened.

Hillary could be somebody here, by quelling all this garbage, get out and feel the pulse of real America, not the San Franciso pulse like Pelosi does.

It takes a real person do admit defeat properly, and if even a more special person to stand beside the person who defeated them.

Funny thing is Hillary didn't have a problem crawling into Obama"s cabinet after he defeated her.

Look GW an Bubba seem are friends, were on tv together.

Just how does Hillary want herself to go down into the non fake history books?

Absolutely! I'm glad there's others here that possess the clear thinking that seems to be missing from Trump's Deplorable base. And you're right... it should never be about "us" vs "them." That's why I'm an Independent.

And yes, John Kasich would have made a very good president, far better than the Liar-in-Chief we have today.

Go-rebels,

It is not what you think as far as Kasich goes that matters.
How many states did he win?

He had his chance and failed.
He tried to run as a traditional candidate, just like Jeb.
And the republican electorate wasn't about to nominate a traditional candidate.

Both Jeb and Kasich, didn't tout illegal immigration like Trump did.
Besides Jeb's brother had already failed here on this issue.
Bush name was tainted big time.
Jeb was depending heavily on amnesia of the electorate.
Didn't work!

Could Kasich run again and be elected?
Possibly but I wouldn't be betting too much on this.
