I really hope they come out with a adapter or make a 5" or 6" round coil for it.

I think the big difference is the pinpoint button. CZ20 had a rubber covered button that could leak over continued use (rubber would crack).
There might be other changes, somebody with more knowledge will chime in.

If you were talking about a Minelab, I could see being concerned about out of warranty repairs on a machine... Their repairs are expensive...
Whites on the other hand does out of warranty repair work quite reasonably.

The club I belong to has several seeded freshwater hunts a year, 30 to 40 people will show up.
80 to 90% are using A/T Pros....
That said, I have never used one. Tesoro Stingray II is what I use, it does well on small gold.

I don't have the Racer, but, I have the Fors CoRe and the CF77. Of the two, I much prefer the Fors CoRe, more information and better tones.
From what I understand the Racer and Fors CoRe are very close in performance.

Silver coins and probably costume jewelry with some good jewelry mixed in...
Love to hunt places like this. Old church camps, Boyscout and youth camps.... Good places.
I hope that it hasn't been hunted, you will have a ball.

Usually replace the cam lock, I have wrapped the shaft with electrical tape to get some more time out of the cam lock.
Rods by plugger has a good replacement shaft lock on ebay.
I have them on several detectors and they work well.

Not crazy about sealed batteries in anything. Didn't upgrade cell phone to latest version of Samsung Galaxy S6 because of sealed battery.
1. Would you be willing to buy a detector that has no option for replaceable batteries (sealed rechargeable only)?
Only if manufacturer would replace cheaply and in a timely manner. Realistically, probably would not buy unless it is ground breaking te

Technical talk is great and one of the reasons I lurk here like I do.
If someone is hunting a wore out spot and makes changes to their program/uses a different machine and all of a sudden the wore out spot starts producing and they post pictures of their finds.... That gets me fired up....lol

CZ-6a.. many times over
Tesoro Compadre...2nd time I used it
Fisher T2 (green machine)
Tesoro Stingray II
All were jewelry finds at freshwater beaches. I have never paid for a machine with coins and relics only...lol

It is a hobby for me, I have some friends that it would probably be a way of life for.... Not in a good way though.
Some of them, if they don't find something good every trip, they are miserable and God forbid if you out hunt them......lol

I don't think it is the depth but rather the mineralization of the soil...

I have one, haven't used it much, the tones are to close together for my ears. Next time I use it, I'm going to tape a nickel to my shoe so I can figure out if it is a mid tone or high tone....lol

I used a old classifier and put a swim noodle on it... They are handy to have. The camera you used does a nice job.... Good price on it also.

Maybe not the best iron machine I have used but, good for an honorable mention low cost machine, the Teknetics Eurotek Pro with a 5" coil sure is a lot of fun in iron.
